Preferred Suppliers, please use the following tabs to schedule in an event date for 2026. This will be on a first come, first served basis. If you do need additional support in regards to the the topic or details of your event, please reach out to Trina at membership@didaa.ca and Kierstin at president@didaa.ca

Please complete the required information as soon as possible so that we are able to plan accordingly on our end. We ideally like to be able to send out invites 3-4 weeks in advance. Events will be shared directly with members via event invitations, on our newsletter (as long as we have the information in time - the newsletter goes out once every two months) and via social media.

We have found that our members prefer events to be held on Tuesday, Wedensday or Thursday, and ideally, we'd love to see a combo of lunch hour events as well as evening events each month, to best ensure that all our members have opportunities to attend as some are better able to make a daytime event work vs an evening event, and vice versa.

Co-hosting an event with another Preferred Supplier is also a great way to go about your event. For your food / beverages, please keep typical dietary restrictions in mind (vegetarian, gluten friendly, etc.), including non-alcoholic options and avoid common allergens such as nuts and shellfish. Our board is happy to help with guidance on this as well.

Our most successful events combine knowledge with a fun activity (and food of course)! Our Professional Members love being current on new products and technology, knowing the pros and cons of different materials, and just generally having a deeper understanding of the products and services they are recommending to their clients. For our Student Members, this is a chance for them to develop relationships with suppliers so they can hit the ground running with they graduate and for them to increase their overall education with additional knowledge. AND don't forget that we love seeing Preferred Suppliers at other Preferred Supplier events - it's a chance to further grow your network, establish connections and embody the spirit of collaboration over competition.

We do have some members who require CEU credits, so CEU sessions are welcome as well.

Next Steps:

Once we've confirmed your event, our DIDAA Board will add you to our event schedule on the website. We aim to send out the invitation to our membership 3-4 weeks in advance and registration is handled via our website. We send out an initial invitation along with a follow-up invitation, and anyone who registers receives a confirmation email along with a reminder about the event a few days prior. We'll keep you posted on attendance numbers leading up to the event and will also handle registration on the day of.
