Community MemberConsider "game-ifying" things to engage students and look for ways these skills could be transferable to the workforce. (control panel for military) Khan Acadamy / connection to eSports
12
Community MemberContinue to build strong relationships with the community and charter schools. Continue asking for bonds. Continue trying to align in uniform instruction across the district for every student. Continue to have board members, district staff and more be in the community to listen and visit schools and inviting others to participate.

37
Community MemberI really don't know. I do know that I'm glad I don't have children in OKCPS. I feel what Ryan Walters's is doing is disturbing and disgusting.
38
Community MemberI think OKCPS does a good job of being very respectful of different cultures and family values.
39
Community MemberI think they are putting in the effort to not stay at status quo amidst everything going against them.
40
Community MemberI'm not sure
41
Community MemberI'm not sure as our kids are still too little to be in school
42
Community MemberImproving literacy and mental health.
43
Community MemberIn my opinion, nothing. Tests scores across the district are terrible, and the argument on serving a tougher population just provides an excuse on lowering the bar. Even your magnet schools cherry pick the top students that don't reflect your district, which is against your equity policy.
44
Community MemberInvesting in their future with the current bond is awesome, offering specialized programs for students to receive certificates and 'work' experience prioir to graduation - hopeful it continues as we procede forward!

67
Community MemberOKCPS is doing a great job at school spirit. The merch (stickers, shirts, branded backpacks) and all the positive murals or wall decorations in the schools help to create a bright atmosphere. OKCPS does well at getting kids excited for school. Teachers are very passionate about the kids they serve. Also, there are many unique opportunities that OKCPS offers that other public schools don't. These opportunities should be exemplified and marketed more, especially to the latino population. The partnerships and collaboration among community leaders is wonderful to see how they impact students. The superintendent's leadership council is a lovely opportunity for students, too.
68
Community MemberOKCPS is focused on meeting the needs of individual students within a very challenging environment.
69
Community MemberOKCPS needs to remind parents/community members who they actually need to talk to about certain problems or challenges they are facing. (direct those comments to the people/elected officials who can actually help solve the base issue
70
Community MemberOKCPS put a daycare in [school] without the data to support it, we are doing things without involving the community, have more open forums, more information opportunities to help parents undertand what the needs are and why the district is doing the things it's doing
71
Community MemberOKCPS, in collaboration with the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation, has developed programs to recruit and retain diverse, qualified educators. These initiatives support paraprofessionals in obtaining teaching certifications and degrees, thereby enhancing the quality and diversity of the teaching staff. The success of these programs has led to their expansion, including the introduction of the High School to Teacher Pipeline and the Aspiring Administrator Pipeline

Community Membervirtual learning is not for everyone, student was not successful becuase he was often distracted, some students are good at doing things on their own, but virual learning isn't for all students, we can do better with online learning for the kids that works for
