Crop Layout Example Spreadsheet
3
Firstly, before you explore this spreadsheet I thoroughly recommend watching Ziggyd's video. It will help you understand the contents of this spreadsheet (video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgCRW1NWT6A)
4
Secondly, remember that each of these are examples and as you familiarise yourself with the system it will become much easier to understand how to develop your own layouts
5
New Layout: https://pastebin.com/59WkfyEH no longer using spreadsheet
6
All the included layouts are examples and every one of the L shapes can be used for T4 seeds if you modify it by adding dispersers but I've included a less space efficient layout in the left L sheet
7
I've tried to put where you can easily put the highest tier, it is not expected that you'll have a full square of T4 seeds but the fields can handle it if you somehow have the storage and lifeforce to do so
8
Anywhere you see a T2-4 seed you can put a lower tier seed provided the adjacency requirements of the higher tier seeds are met so that they can grow!
9
There is initially not enough storage on any of the examples for T4 farming, you will need to expand, just keep in mind pylons can only have 4 connections
10
Example layouts of other ways you can do T2-4 farms are included on the bottom right of every sheet
11
Pylons also have limited reach (along with a maximum of 4 connections) to maximise this you can use storage tanks, dispersers and collectors as "mini" pylons by connecting pylons through them
12
Make sure you scale up your T1 fields as needed as the further you get into mapping the more seeds T1 seeds you'll get per map (especially true if you're buying seeds)
13
14
With all that out of the way, there are 5 sheets you can explore, have fun and enjoy harvest!

Wiring VOD for the top right section of the Left L spreadsheet: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/657214433 (Note there is a mistake where the dispersers in the purple field are in the wrong orientation, they're fixed on the spreadsheet though so use those)
