DAY 1

Host country and organization presentation. Assigning the duties and responsibilities for the current youth exchange. Introducing the planned project activities for the day and the behavior rules that should be kept during their stay in the course venue. Team building, preparing name-tags and posters to present the project countries and teams. Sharing and discussing various ideas in order to overcome the communication obstacles. Setting the main tasks-creating the project products-a video film “Silence is not gold” and an e- book entitled “Human rights-what is it? ” Nominating people responsible for the final project products.Lecture, discussion, team working, brainstorming, role-plays, situational games. Introducing countries and teams. Talks with local people, interviews, discussing the content of the e-book and video film. Completed tasks analysis. Personal opinions, conclusions, evaluation. Problems solving. Presenting the culture and traditions of the project countries.

PM 14:00-16:00-coffee break;16:00-16:30;16:30-18:00 Situational game. Five tasks will be set to each Group. The project participants will get in touch with the locals to gather information for the game based on some joined actions. Getting to know the region and its population. The main topics of the book are supposed to be the following: “Equal human rights”, “Women and men”, “Different sexual orientation” and “Nationality and religion”. A book chapter will cover the knowledge gained during the initiative planned to be carried out in collaboration with IDENTIOVA in Tbilisi. Each participant will make their own decision what to create-a poem, a song, an essay, or an article on the current topic.

Getting to know the fundamental EU documents related to the human rights as well as The global guidance on addressing school-related gender- based violence” issued by UNESCO and United Nations. Istanbul convention-discussion. Preparing and carrying out seminars and games related to the daily topic. Group leaders and facilitators will support the participants. Tolerance and accepting diversity will be stimulated. Daily activities will be scheduled. Team working, setting tasks and responsibilities. Role-plays, discussions, brainstorming. Sharing opinions, analyzing and evaluating the project work done.

Getting to know Georgian traditions and stereotypes. Meetings with local people at different age and involving them in some of the project activities if they are willing to do it. Sharing opinions, analysis and evaluation.
