Select all gear and enchants that you want to use. Armor with an asterisk* have features that still need implemented.
Select the buffs and weapon oils/stones being used for the fight. Check for buff conflicts, as not all of them will not be error checked by the sheet.
Choose the spells being used for the fight dps rotation. Spell CDs can be set based on the approximate usage of the ability.
Seal/judgement currently need to match in order for mana cost calcs to be correct. Will not currently adjust for needing to cast seal for judge in addition to refreshing afterwards
Currently assumes rotation is not GCD capped and spells can be used on CD. Adding too many abilities to the rotation may violate this assumption.
Seal twisting can be activated, but note that GCD compensation has not been added to the sheet. This will significantly overvalue seal twisting, particularly for fast weapons.
Healing spells can also be added to the rotation with approximate usage timing in the CD slot. Melee dps swing losses will be compensated for, but using too many GCD is currently not supported.
If you want to evaluate pure healing, deactivate all DPS abilities and set FoL vs HL to CDs appropriate for their usage. So for instance 75% FoL and 25% HL would be a CD of 2 and 10, respectively. Full breakdown in the future.
The duration of a sustainable rotation based on mp5 and consumables is shown in the bottom left. Downrank various spells to optimize DPS to the fight length. Full analysis in the future.
If you get a big scary value error when changing seals here, you just have a rank set out of range. Lower it to the highest appropriate rank and it should go away.
Select the talent setup being used. Abilities (e.g. holy shock) will still be usable on the sheet even when not included in talents, so be sure to check for conflicts here. Bolded talents are not implemented.
Change fight specific details such as boss level, boss armor and fight duration here. Default resist values are an average of LH boss values and armor is the median. A reference table can be used to adjust these, again from LH Core.
Armor values tend to vary by mob somewhat but are far less variable than resistances.
Much of a spell damage paladin's dps is reliant on the spell coefficients on various procs. The base values for the sheet can be modified here if so desired.
Warning: Weapon enchants are set to scale by default, but are set to 0 with custom coeffs. Also, guaranteed spell "procs" like blazefury currently behave like normal spell procs with a 100% proc rate.
Several use items (e.g. sappers) have been added. Non-sapper CDs can be stacked with sappers and CDs will be adjusted accordingly. If all 3 are selected, the highest will be used.
A variety of debated features like extra swings proccing themselves can be toggled to both evaluate the effects of such a change or to adjust the sheet to how you think it likely functions.
Disclaimer: The "DPS" output in this sheet is unlikely to match in-game values for a variety of reasons. Primarily use it as a metric for comparing gear, especially until more robust testing has been performed.
Be sure to enable iterative calculations by going to Options -> Formulas.

If you get a circular error in the DPS sheet, make sure you close the sheet without saving and then reopen it. Otherwise you will have to redownload it, as these errors are often hard to troubleshoot.
