How much do we know about the taste, flavor, and general appeal of products generated using the methods you have pointed to at scale?

A lot of companies are aiming at using gene editing to greatly reduce (or eliminate) the need for most growth factors. Do you see potential and/or risk there?

Would it be so bad to use antibiotics to allow lower sterility? Antibiotics in animal farming can cause AMR zoonotic events but for CM this is much less likely

Do you see any opportunities for us to skip the need for growth factors (e.g. electical stimulations) that could help us scale more cost effective?

How about growth factor/ FBS replacement/ supplement supply chain? Will we have enough supplies if all companies start commercial scale?

Single use plastic bioreactor is more energy efficient than stainless steel SIP Bioreactors but that too defeats our purpose - what could be an alternative?

What about a model where cell based production is hyper local, relying on existing scales of several thousand liters with automation and closed solutions?

In a fully mature cultivated meat industry, how centralized vs localized is production? In 20 years, is meat cultivated for the city/ region it is consumer in?

Are there any company/ group that focus on increasing cell yield instead of building the biggest/ autonomous bioreactor? Isn't that elephant in the room?

Do we see the new technologies too much in silos? How could e.g precision fermentation tech be used for paving the way to cultured meat?

Do any of you have thoughts on transgenic cell lines to bypass the growth factor costs? Either transient transfection or stable cell lines?

For pharma cell secreted products are the target for cultured meat the cells themselves. How that affects your thinking abiut cost?

Zheng - you mentioned that 250K liter vessel is doable. Are you worried about spending a ton of $$$ on capex only to build and not have it work?

@Zach - when experimenting with new components or varying concentrations of components, what consideration is given for FDA GRAS status and acceptable food use?

There are traces of antibiotics in much of our animal-derived meat currently. Do we have to/can we afford to hold ourselves to a higher standard than this?

How can cultivated meat companies work together to align on regulatory compliance and food safety without compromising IP?

Re: perceptions of safety vs actual safety - how do we communicate this effectively? As an example GMOs are perceived as unsafe by some whether they are or not.
