Personal Progress- Crew Tracker
2
Instructions for Getting Started
3
4
Welcome to Personal Progress-Crew Tracker (PPCT) for LDS Crews.
5
This program is designed to be a comprehensive tracker for all components of the LDS Aaronic Priesthood (AP) experience.
6
These components include: AP advancement, home teaching, Eagle trail, Summit trail, seminary, Duty to God, and experiences in leaderhip, outdoor, and service activities.
7
There are no security levels build in and no personal contact information built into the system. You may add this on your own as desired.
8
9
Below are some simple steps to create a tracker for your crew.
10
1- At top left click File > Make a Copy > Name your file and check share with same> save the link to bookmarks
11
2- Sign in as unpcvoa@gmail.com (password: unpcvoa1) and click the link to go to your new tracker
12
3- Click Share (top right) and enter the desired owner's gmail account and click send
13
4- Click Share > advanced > can edit (next to new owner's address) and change to "is owner"
14
5- While anyone with the link can put data into the tracker, only the new owner can modify the setting of the document.
15
6- While signed in under "owner", take care when entering data that you do not erase formula cells
16
7- In general, it is better to enter all data when you are not signed is as "owner."
17
18
Instructions for setting up PPCT:
19
1- Click on DataEntry tab (bottom right of page) and enter nickname, name and birthdate from oldest to youngest of all YM ages 10-18 years of age.
20
2- Each data sheet should now be populated with this data.
21
3- When adding or deleting a name, you must go to the DataEntry tab and "copy and paste" (NOT "CUT") all individuals up one or down one row in order to delete the individual or add a row for the new individual's information. This will make the same adjustment on all sheets. However now their personal data will be off by the same amount of rows.
22
4- The biggest limitation to this program is that you now must go to EACH tab and move (copy and paste) all the data for each individual name that was moved in the rows (or to the columns in the case of leadership, camping, and quorum service) so that it matches up with the corresponding name again.
23
5- Use the Alumni page to transfer data for young men who age out (or move out if desired) for statistical purposes.
24
25
Instructions for inputting data into each of the sheets (see tabs at bottom of page) PPCT:
26
1. Eagle (Trail to Eagle)- Enter all rank advancement (latest rank needs the date entered into the cell not an "X")
27
2. Eagle (Trail to Eagle)- Enter abbreviation for all badges earned (hover over Elective MBs heading cell to see full list of abbreviations). When a youth has complete all the merit badges in a category you may replace the abbreviation with an "X" for simplicity. You may also enter "." in the cells for youth who are not participating in the Eagle trail
