Head start does not have enough quality teachers. My son’s teacher calls off every other week and they have to cancel class that day because student:teacher ratio is off. This creates issues with employment because of no childcare. Also, headstart is only 4 days a week which, again, creates issues with employment.

If they can help some of the low income earners in paying medical debts it will be a great relief to some of us. Especially those with medical conditions like BP and diabetes with expensive medications. Thanks for all you do for the under privilege in the community. God bless the entire team

I’ve seen several people asking for food assistance on a group I’m a member of on Facebook. That tells me that maybe there needs to be more food assistance or better advertising for those services.

working families that do not qualify for any type of assistance but still cannot afford monthly bills/food- no extra curricular expenses are used either. Its just a day to day struggle that seems to never end.

We need more medical care providers that accept Medicare/Medicaid. Dental appointments are nearly impossible to make. Pulmonary appointments are hard to make as well. Mental health for children appointments are not possible, there’s a waitlist even for school based individual therapy. Kroger is not dependable for fresh fruit and vegetables, customers have to move to good lighting to see if the product is still fresh or not. There’s barely any houses for rent & the ones available as asking more than a monthly mortgage payment to rent them. It would be nice to see a class for adults to learn about home ownership & how that’s a more affordable option than rental fees. It would be great if there were more higher paying jobs in the area, pay above minimum wage. It would be awesome if future companies were willing to train new hires for positions where they can make 20+ an hour, after training.
