Jazz BandThe Jazz Band club offers our 6th through 8th grade music students the opportunity to participate in an extracurricular music ensemble that focuses on the performance of Jazz music. Students will study music and the performance elements of jazz from a wide variety of styles including big band, swing, blues, and funk. Our middle school musicians will learn to swing, solo and improvise by way of musical performance and learning through a collaborative study of jazz with their peers. Ski ClubThe Ski Club is open to beginner, novice, advanced skiers, and snowboarders. The ski trips will start in January and run approximately every 2/3 weeks (weather permitting). Art ClubArt club is an imaginative opportunity for students of all skill levels to come together and create. The theme of this year’s club is art in public spaces. Students will use their creative imaginations to develop artwork that can be displayed throughout our school community. The goal is to work together as a group to liven up our shared space, and make creative student voices visible.
