This is a list of entomologists and insect enthusiasts on Twitter. If you like insects and want to learn more, or need help identifying something you've found, consider following them.
2
(But remember: be kind, courteous, and thankful for their help. Demanding identifications or being a jerk won't get you anywhere)

UPDATE 2023: Given the decline of Twitter and the fracturing of the Twitter-sphere as folks try out other apps, I'm going to try and maintain connections between Twitter handles and other social networks. If you've migrated elsewhere and would like to maintain your connections to EntoTwitter, let me know your new handles and I'll update this list as I can!

6
No one on this list will diagnosis you, provide medical advice, or care to see photos of bites/lesions. Please consult a medical professional privately.
7
8
The list is organized taxonomically by Order (ie. beetle experts are together, fly experts are together, spiders, etc), with each group in a different sheet.
9
10
Many identification experts are better acquainted with their local fauna, so I've included their home/current country.
11
12
Experts are in no particular order, and some may not use Twitter as frequently as others.
13
14
Many entomologists are able to identify many different types of insects, so don't be too worried about specializations. I've included them for the tougher identification problems.

If you would like your name, handle and expertise added to the list (or removed), tweet at @BioInFocus and I'll do so.
