There is no check-in required for this tournament, just show up by 8:00-8:45am and be ready for round 1 at 9am for the 1-day Scholastic sections or 10am for the 2-day Championship sections.

Chess boards, sets, pens, scoresheets, and digital chess clocks will be provided. Please bring a chess set to practice between rounds if desired.

Several judges will be circulating throughout the playing halls and can take the results as games finish. Kids should remember to report their score to a judge before leaving the playing room!

The parent waiting areas are the King County, Kirkland, and Redmond rooms for the 1-day sections and the Newcastle room for the 2-day sections.

There will be concessions offered at this tournament available for purchased in the foyer and no outside food or drinks are allowed. Please plan accordingly; many food options available nearby.

There is no Wi-Fi contracted for this event due to the high cost. Parents may set up hotspots and/or use cellular data.

The rounds will tentatively start at the times listed above, with the last round of the 1-day Scholastic sections expected to finish around Sat @ 4pm and the last round of the 2-day Championship sections around Sun @ 8pm.

Young children should be supervised between rounds! Please behave appropriately and do not run or play sports on the hotel premises.

Please make sure to clean up any messes and leave the meeting spaces clean so that we can continue to host tournaments at the Hilton in the future.
