Level: On the upper left hand corner of the CrewFinder tab, you can set the Level of the boss you are fighting. The game restricts which crew rarity can be used in a Boss Battle depending on the level - so make sure you set this first so that the tool will give you the correct crew options!

A. Known Traits: These are the listed traits under each node. There can be one or two known traits for each node. Enter these on the appropriate line of the tool (image above). N1 will be the first node. If there is only one trait, be sure to enter that trait in the top field for the node, or the sheet will ignore it!

B. Hidden Traits: Each node has a number of hidden traits that may be any one of the traits in the pool of Possible Traits below. Next to each node on the CrewFinder tab (N1-N6), there is a "?s" field. Enter the number of hidden traits for the node here.

C. Possible Traits: This is a list of all of the traits that may be revealed as a hidden trait for one of the Combo Nodes. Each trait will only be used once. Enter all of these traits on the Hidden Trait fields on the CrewFinder tab. They are labeled P1-P24.

Cleared Nodes: Once a node has been cleared, delete the associated traits from the Known and Possible trait areas, to filter out crew that are no longer eligible.

73
Eligible Crew: This is the column where all crew that could possibly unlock a node are listed (once all of the traits are entered). The list is sorted first by number of nodes the crew could potentially unlock, then by the number of traits from the trait pool they have. Crew higher on the list are more likely to unlock a node and have a higher probability of being eligible to unlock multiple nodes.Crew names are highlighted based on their rarity. See the key next to the Possible Traits column on the CrewFinder tab.

On the columns to the right of each crew, the qualifying traits each crew has are identified. Each column (
N1-N6 and P1-P24) correspond to one of the trait fields on the left. For the N (Known) node columns, it will only be marked if the crew has all of the Known Traits for the node, and if it has at least the minimum number of hidden traits to unlock that node.

Attempted/Ineligible Crew: After attacking a boss, you can enter the crew used in this column. Any crew in this column (whether or not they qualify to unlock a node) will be placed in the list of eligible crew. Their name and qualifying traits will be struck-out and grey, indicating they have been attempted or otherwise ineligible.

You can also enter crew in this column you know to be ineligible through the process of elimination (for example, they have the exact same traits as another crew that failed to unlock a node).

Move Attempted to Bottom: Above the Attempted/Ineligible Crew column, there is a checkbox that will move all crew listed in the Attempted/Ineligible Crew column to the bottom of the Eligible Crew column.

91
In Portal: If this box is highlighted, it means the crew listed is in the Portal. NOTE: a crew that is not in the portal may still unlock a node. However, they cannot be the only possible crew to unlock a node. You can use this fact to sometimes help narrow down your crew selection.

94
Have: This column requires an import of a DataCore Crew.csv file (see instructions for that below). This column will check each Eligible Crew against the list of crew you have, and highlight if that crew is on your roster.
95
96
97
Eliminating Ineligible Crew: The checkboxes on the top and to the right of the trait matrix will allow you to identify and eliminate any crew that have identical traits to a crew that has already been attempted.

To use these:

First, select the columns for the trait combination you wish to eliminate. This will highlight each column in red. Each Known node dot will turn red, and the dots from the possible nodes will be removed.
