AN ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP is a good way to stay/feel connected as graduate students, but those kinds of connections can be difficult to create in online courses when you never actually have that before/after commoradore that happens before and after classes in the "real" world. These connections seem especially important right now.
3
STEP ONE: Enter your email address in the column under your preferred meeting times. Your group will decide when to meet; the "preferences" columns just make it easier to find something that works for everyone. Again, when and how often you meet is up to your group and your schedules. However, I highly recommend planning to meet every two weeks at minimum to keep eachother on point, stay connected, and perhaps even vent, as may be necessary for all of us from time to time. :) 1.
4
STEP TWO: If you are the sixth person to enter your email address (i.e. there are five unassigned emails above yours), you will act as the point of contact.
5
STEP THREE: As the sixth person, please copy those email addresses into a collective email and send a message alerting the other members of the group’s formation.
6
STEP FOUR: After emailing your group members, please return to the Google Sheets and cross out your email address along with your fellow group members’ addresses.
7
NOTE: If your schedule is such that (like Abigail), any such meeting seems almost impossible to work into your schedule, please let me know. I completely understand. We'll find an alternative path, perhaps even by joining forces together through an asynchrous option. It won't be quite the same as meeting in real-time, but we'll a path that differs from our larger class discussions and yields enough of the kinds of benefits available to the those ablle to take up a f2f version of the accountability group to make these collaborations worthwhile.
