clinical trials post9/10/2010222272S4Still have a ways to go in showing that you understand S4-designing a controlled experiment. I don't get the sense that you know what a placebo is or what the controls are in the experiment you studied. More importantly, your next steps should be to find out WHY placebo and double-blind studies are used.

THIS SHEET IS FOR THE 9 MAJOR STANDARDS THAT COMPRISE YOUR GRADE. CLICK BELOW ON THE STD 1 TAB TO SEE A BREAKDOWN OF EVIDENCE OF YOUR LEARNING IN SPECIFIC CONTENT AREAS.NEW EVIDENCE OF LEARNING REPLACES OLD SO READ DOWN EACH COLUMN FOR THE LATEST EVIDENCE OF PERFORMANCE ON EACH STANDARDwater properties lab post9/14/2010322.575Not sure what you mean here: "I learned that water is a physical combination" but the rest of it is pretty good. You might mention H-bonds as the bonds that hold water molecules to each other, not covalent bonds- those hold the H's and O's together in H2O.

8
article review incomplete10/9/2010059Need to review an article of current research on one of the topics that we are currently studying. There was an article posted to Edmodo a month ago if you want to review that one.
9
antacid lab10/11/20103333359Introduction slide ends abruptly, cut off? Hypothesis is odd- your group really thought that the antacids would have no effect? Why would we ever take them then? Conclusions are good, though, based on that hypothesis.

15
cell membrane post11/4/20102.577Shows an ok understanding of the phospholipids in the membrane, but not too much about the other parts. Can you get a picture of your poster here too?

cell membrane poster11/9/201075Not sure this post adds anything to your blog. The picture is too tiny to show detail and you do not include any description of what you learned from doing the poster.
19
CF post11/12/2010375Good review of the basics of CF.
20
lipids and proteins post11/16/20102.52.575S7Ok content, although proteins can be soluble in water. Need to connect the ideas together better, this post reads like a bunch of unconnected facts. Show your understanding by linking the sentences together better.
21
cell structure post11/17/201032.575Eukaryotic means many things, but mostly that the cell has membrane-bound organelles. Careful with your wording in the first paragraph: animal cells do not have "cell walls" Good review of cells!
22
mercury poison post12/2/20102.575Nice review of the effects of mercury, but it needs a link to the article(s) that you used for your research.
23
enzyme lab12/15/2010275Need to match interpretations with the correct graphs on your post. May need to tell your readers what you did in this lab.

25
photosynthesis dry lab post12/17/20102.52.575Procedure needs more detailed steps. Conclusions at the beginning need to be linked together more to show the logic involved.
