Individuals with mental health issues are not taken care of or taken seriously when the sheriff’s office is called.

Have an adequate budget, more training, better compensation and benefits for employees, increased support from county.

I think you do a good job with the budget you have to work with. If you could get a better budget you could do more

Deputies are doing a fine job, however I hear a lot of negative about the upper echelon at the sheriffs office. Deputies treat the community great but from what I hear they’re not treated great from the admin and seems like they’re always looking for help. Also pay needs to be considerably more for what those guys put up with.

Restructure the command staff. Elect someone else as sheriff (not including Jason Mcdaniels a.k.a the Major, or Brent Campbell).
