Preparation:

1. (Kingdom Sheet) Set BP to 50, Unrest to 0, Kingdom Size, Year and Month to 1.

2. (Kingdom Sheet, Discuss with your Players) Select and Alignment via the Drop Down Menu.

3. (Kingdom Sheet, Discuss with your Players) Chose Leadership Roles. Enter the Character Names into the "Character" Column and set "absent" to "no" for these Roles. Set "absent" to "yes" for empty Leadership Roles.

4. (Kingdom Sheet) Every Leadership Role adds a Bonus to your Kingdom based on a some of the Characters Attributes. Please Read the official Rules for more Details. Enter the Mod into the "Bonus" Column.

5. (Kingdom Sheet) Reset Edicts by setting all Values in the Edicts Section to "none" and "Reduced Penalty" to "no".

6. (Kingdom Sheet) Reset Buildings and Improvements by removing any Values.

7. (Army Sheet) Reset all Values.

8. (All City Sheets) Reset City Name (upper-left Corner), all City Values. Remove all Building Names from the District Views, as well as the Distric Name. Set "Paved Roads" to "no" and the Surroundings (Norths, South, ...) to "Grass".

9. (All City Sheets) Scroll down to the "Buildings" Section and remove Values in the few yellow Cells. Scroll further down, remove all Magic Items and reset all Values.

10. (Database, optional) Go to "EmblemImage" and enter the URL for your Kingdoms Emblem.

Upkeep Phase:

1. (Kingdom Sheet) Attempt a Stability check. If you succeed, Unrest decreases by 1 (if this would reduce Unrest below 0, add 1 BP to your Treasury instead). If you fail by 4 or less, Unrest increases by 1; if you fail by 5 or more, Unrest increases by 1d4.

2. (Kingdom Sheet) Add or Substract the Unrest Change from the "Unrest" Value in the Sheet Header.

3. (Kingdom Sheet) Subtract your kingdom's Consumption from the kingdom's Treasury by Substracting the "Consumption" Value from your "BP available" Value. If your Treasury is negative after paying Consumption, Unrest increases by 2.

(Kingdom Sheet) If any of your settlement districts have buildings that produce magic items (such as a Caster's Tower or Herbalist) with vacant magic item slots, there is a chance of those slots filling with new items (see the Magic Items in Settlements section). Add those Items to the Magic Item Section of the Setlement.

5. (Kingdom Sheet) Unrest increases by 1 for each kingdom attribute (Economy, Loyalty, or Stability) that is a negative number.

Edict Phase:

1. (Kingdom Sheet) Assign PCs or NPCs to any vacant leadership roles or change the roles being filled by particular PCs or closely allied NPCs. Don't forget to set "absent"!

2. (Kingdom Sheet) Claim and Abandon Hexes. Set the amount of claimed Hexes in the "Kingdom Size" Cell.

3. (Kingdom Sheet) You may spend BP to build terrain improvements like Farms, Forts, Roads, Mines, and Quarries. Substract the Costs from the "Available BP" and set the Imrpvement in the "Buildings and Improvements"Section.

4. (City Sheets) You may create a settlement in a claimed hex and you may build a building in any settlement in your kingdom. Substract the Costs from your "Available BP" Value and set the Buildings into a free Lot.

5. (Army Sheet) You may create, expand, equip, or repair army units. Add those Armies to the Army Sheet.

6. (Kingdom Sheet) Select or adjust your edict levels. Set the Edicts in the Edicts Section to the chosen Level. Also, some Buildings (Cathedral) reduce the Penalty for Edicts. If such a Buildings exists within your Kingdom, set the "Reduced Penalty" Value to "yes".

Income Phase:

1. (Kingdom Sheet) Take Money from your Treasury. Reduce your "Available BP" by 1 to get 2000 Gold. Your Unrest grows by 1 for every BP redrawn.

2. (Kingdom Sheet) Add Money to your Treasury. You get 1 "Available BP" for every 4000 Gold you spend.

3. (Kingdom Sheet) Sell Magic Items for BP. You get 1 "Available BP" for every 4000 Gold of Item Worth (Sell Prices!).

4. (Kingdom Sheet) Tax Incomes. The Treasurer rolls a D20 and Adds the Kingdoms Economy Value. Divide this Roll by 3 and round down. Add the Result to your "Available BP".

1. (Kingdom Sheet) The GM rolls for Events. If an Event occurs and lasts for more than 1 Turn, note it on the Bottom of the "Buildings and Improvements" Section with any Mods it will provide.
