The left-most table, which is a set of 12 encounters, is what you will normally encounter once you enter a location.

However, you are able to modify the encounter slots to grant you different encounter depending on what game mechanic you use

The following will describe what every slot set is modified by for grass encounters:

Slots 1-2
These slot(s) will be overwritten when a Swarm event is active

Slots 3-4
These slots are modified by Time of Day naturally and will be overwritten with an active flower incense.

Slots 5-6
These slots are overwritten when the PokeRadar is being used.

Slots 7-10
These slots are static regardless of any game mechanics being active

These slots are modified by Time of Day naturally and will be overwritten when the PokeRadar is being used.
