It was a wonderful experience for students from Primary School No 43 from Białystok. The students were very excited and happy. They could meet friends from other country and talk to them about their schools and cities. It turned out that children in Poland and Portugal like to read the same books. We want to continue this kind of the skype connection and even develop cooperation. Sameiro Costa and Ana Cristina Nayaand and your students – thank you very much - Dorota Jabłońska and Danuta Danilewicz.

Sameiro Costa / Cristina Martinhoaejm@bibliotecasescolares.ptUTC+113-17 years, from PortugalEnglishGreat idea to connecting communities and cultures! It was good to know that people from different countries have so many things in common. We talked about our city, our school, our languages, and also about music, books, cinema and tv series. we learned Russian words. We even sang together, they sang a Russian song, and we sang our national hymn.
We loved it because we got in touch with a different culture and we learned that in spite of the distance we have so much in common.
It was a great experience. Thank you very much Elena Kolpakova and your students!

Sameiro Costa/Ana Cristina Nayaaejm@bibliotecasescolares.ptUTC+110-11 years, from PortugalEnglishIt was a wonderful experience for the 5C students; they were very shy at the beginning but then they enjoyed it very much and they want to go on with more sessions.
As a teacher I think it was a very different and interesting lesson on that Monday morning: students can improve their skills on language, get in touch with a different class and know about other foreign countries where children also learn English as a second language and have the same difficulties as themselves.
Thank you very much Dorota Jabłońska and your students!
80
Sameiro Costa/Anabela Pereiraaejm@bibliotecasescolares.ptUTC+116-18 years, from PortugalEnglishIt was a rewarding experience; although the students were a bit shy, at first, then they all engaged in the conversation and exchanged knowledge about typical food, sports, history and culture of both countries (Portugal and Kashakstan). They even discussed scores and strategies of online videogames and arranged for the exchange of books between the school libraries of both schools involved!
