An introductory subject to weaving, in which you learn to use different patterns, structures and colors through experimental work samples and finished fabric samples. For international students, professional history lectures have been replaced by independent written work and its presentation. The work should introduce a freely chosen topic from the textile history of the exchange student's home country.

The module includes printing techniques and procedures that do not include screen printing with pigment inks. You will learn how to perform resist printing with reactive inks, devoré, flock and foil printing, and transfer printing using the sublimation method.
