The finish is shorter but sweeter and the oil is beginning to fade. Through the nose there is a bit of campfire, reminiscent of an English pipe tobacco." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf) | 87.5 | Medium-Strong | Medium | "The final third had the campfire intensifying significantly and drowning out the pepper and final sweet notes. Unfortunately, the cigar started to get very hot toward the nub and I finished it several puffs earlier than I prefer." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf) | 95 | "The draw on this cigar was just right for me... Slightly resistant but open enough to provide lots of smoke." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf) | 95 | "As evidenced by my photos, this cigar had an excellent burn... Both in the rate and the straightness. I never needed to do any form of touch up, and didn't need to concern myself with the slight wind." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf) | 95 | "This was an attractive and well constructed cigar... The dusty brown wrapper reminded me of a well worn leather jacket and the performance was superb. Impressively, the ash held well beyond the halfway point before finally falling off. The remaining ash held on until I allowed the cigar to go out on its own. My only fault in the cigar is that the smoke became hot at the end." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf) | 90 | "This was an interesting cigar with many flavor shifts. Interesting contours. " -Adam B. (Bushboy) | 92.5 | "Barnyard and must predominant. Foot is earthy with a bit more potent barnyard presence. " -Adam B. (Bushboy) | 87.5 | Medium | Medium | "Draw is loose and overly effortless. I can almost get a pull off this cigar by holding it close to my lips. Flavors in the first third are woody with a touch of spice. Cherry wood with a rather short finish. Burn is on point and no construction issues at to speak of." -Adam B. (Bushboy) | 87.5 | Medium-Strong | Medium | "Cedar and sweet hardwood. Earthy and a very firm roll. Extremely loose draw. Had to burn about 1/2 inch of wrapper to even out. Campfire and woody. Gummy long finish." -Adam B. (Bushboy) | 85 | Medium | Medium | "Woody and earth still dominate. Licorice bitterness developing. Had to hit with lighter for the second time due to uneven burn. Very loose draw that numbs the flavors. " -Adam B. (Bushboy) | 82.5 | "Way to loose. I could get a pull from this cigar from an inch away." -Adam B. (Bushboy) | 82.5 | "Had to fix twice. Major canoe issues. " -Adam B. (Bushboy) | 82.5 | "The performance of this cigar has me questioning the construction. Draw was way to loose and the burn had to be fixed a few times. " -Adam B. (Bushboy) | 85 | "Flavors weren't terrible, but the burn issues and loose draw killed this one for me. Hopefully I just got the dud of the box. " -Zane G. (Zane) | 92.5 | Medium | Medium | "The first third comes in very sweet, creamy, and faint cedar notes. A touch of spice in the retro but more cedar comes through. So far very pleasant . " -Zane G. (Zane) | 90 | Medium-Strong | Medium-Full | "The strength picks up a bit but still getting those same core flavors. Sweet Cedar notes throughout. Not getting anything much different than previous but they are all pleasant. " -Zane G. (Zane) | 82.5 | "The draw was really really open to the point of making it very hard to get good smoke output. Which really muted the flavors. " -Zane G. (Zane) | 92.5 | "Great burn throughout. Only had to touch up once or twice to even out the burn. " -Zane G. (Zane) | 87.5 | "If it wasn't for the draw of this cigar I would rate construction a bit higher as well. Really had no issues with it staying lit etc. " -Zane G. (Zane) | 90 | "Overall this was a very pleasant soft cigar that you could just sit and smoke anytime and not really need to pay attention. Slightly resistant but open enough to provide lots of smoke. | Excellent | As evidenced by my photos, this cigar had an excellent burn... Both in the rate and the straightness. I never needed to do any form of touch up, and didn't need to concern myself with the slight wind. | Excellent | This was an attractive and well constructed cigar... The dusty brown wrapper reminded me of a well worn leather jacket and the performance was superb. Impressively, the ash held well beyond the halfway point before finally falling off. The remaining ash held on until I allowed the cigar to go out on its own. My only fault in the cigar is that the smoke became hot at the end. | Very Good | This was an interesting cigar with many flavor shifts. I wish the final third would have stayed cool enough to finish because I feel that this has a chance to be something special. I'll definitely revisit this again once the reveal is complete. | 60
92 | 10/14/2017 18:58:43 | Adam B. (Bushboy) | 662 | Very Good | Medium brown wrapper with a triple cap. Veins in the wrapper make it appear there are blemishes and folds that are non there. Interesting contours. | Great | Barnyard and must predominant. Foot is earthy with a bit more potent barnyard presence. | Good | Medium | Medium | Draw is loose and overly effortless. I can almost get a pull off this cigar by holding it close to my lips. Flavors in the first third are woody with a touch of spice. Cherry wood with a rather short finish. Burn is on point and no construction issues at to speak of. | Good | Medium-Strong | Medium | Cedar and sweet hardwood. Earthy and a very firm roll. Extremely loose draw. Had to burn about 1/2 inch of wrapper to even out. Campfire and woody. Gummy long finish. | Fair | Medium | Medium | Woody and earth still dominate. Licorice bitterness developing. Had to hit with lighter for the second time due to uneven burn. Very loose draw that numbs the flavors. | Subpar | Way to loose. I could get a pull from this cigar from an inch away. | Subpar | Had to fix twice. Major canoe issues. | Subpar | The performance of this cigar has me questioning the construction. Draw was way to loose and the burn had to be fixed a few times. | Fair | Flavors weren't terrible, but the burn issues and loose draw killed this one for me. Hopefully I just got the dud of the box. Would try another, however would be pessimistic. | 60
93 | 10/30/2017 8:28:58 | Zane G. (Zane) | 662 | Good | Milk chocolate brown wrapper with a nice triple cap. Prominent veins throughout. | Great | It has a very floral wrapper with a bit of sweetness as well. The foot has a nice sweet and almost vanilla note. | Great | Medium | Medium | The first third comes in very sweet, creamy, and faint cedar notes. A touch of spice in the retro but more cedar comes through. So far very pleasant . | Very Good | Medium-Strong | Medium-Full | The strength picks up a bit but still getting those same core flavors. Sweet Cedar notes throughout. | Good | Medium-Strong | Medium-Full | The flavor notes in the last third are pretty soft. Not getting anything much different than previous but they are all pleasant. | Subpar | The draw was really really open to the point of making it very hard to get good smoke output. Which really muted the flavors. | Great | Great burn throughout. Only had to touch up once or twice to even out the burn. | Good | If it wasn't for the draw of this cigar I would rate construction a bit higher as well. Really had no issues with it staying lit etc. | Very Good | Overall this was a very pleasant soft cigar that you could just sit and smoke anytime and not really need to pay attention. I would like to smoke another one with a better draw to see if I could get more out of it. Would be willing to try it again. | 75
