Tips & Ideas- Needs to be able to put his/her foot down sometimes
- Should have a vision for Phage
- Should know the broader Institute community well
- Should understand and have performed many camp jobs and and solved many camp problems.
- Should know many people in the community & their strengths/weaknesses
- Important steward of the comminuty
- Must be able to summon inner asshole
- Ideally an extrovert
- Evan needs an understudy to dilute the knowledge into more phagelings.
- We automated most of the repetitive spreadsheet and email tasks in 2013. Having a Datamaster work together is essential [Bravo!]
- PHP (Wordpress) and Python- Must coordinate with multiple blue-collar vendors who prefer cash, don't do email and will forget you exist if you don't bother them into compliance.

Suggestion from Jeremy: merge responsibilities of water, graywater, power and fuel. If we use the right vendors, these tasks are substantially similar and doable by one person.
Grey water spills can cost the camp spot The whisperer should aquire 3 large trash cans, copious contractor-grade bags (at least 40 gallon, 50-count, 3mil thickness), clear bags if possible, a plastic bucket suitable for burnables, and at least 20 burlap sacks to line the burnables bucket.

LABELS. Large burn piles only want to accept wood, so we need to burn our burnable trash throughout the week in our own receptacle.

Should we get a dedicated trash truck so there's no trash bag lap-holding during exodus?
Has a credit card that can withstand a $3-4k hit for a few weeks. Has a valid driver's license.

Could we get to a place where we are not hauling things from afar? (Yes, If we get the second container.)
Lives in SF. Works alongside early arrival build lead / strike lead. Is organized, communicates well under dusty stress, ... the early arrival build and strike czar assist in fascilitating this role with able bodies to assist. Good communication skills, can keep track of many objects.Preferably an angry Langtonite, to ensure that Langton does not become a dumping ground for phage shit. Otherwise the listmaker can find an angry langtonite to bequeath the lists to.Note: in 2018 $325 was spent on dry ice, which was *almost* enough, per leads.Ecstatic munchies compulsion.

Not just junkfood! Bring veggies too.

want to lead more towards food as art or at least nutrition this year and less towards costco. i always try to emphasize things people can make for their campmates when the impulse strikes (grilled cheese etc) but will try to extend this more this year.
Can use software to design map of camp.

Communicate early wiht other camps. Also it is quite hard to coordinate all arrivals, as they land almost everywhere at all stages of the day / night. Phage is often chaos, and this requires one to manage chaos.
Should be a good motivator of people. Can motivate 50 hot, dusty, exhausted people without making everything hellish. Uses megaphones awesomely.

Make a choreography. The choreography has sub-jobs (e.g. strike the dome) with times listed. Everybody signs up for a strike task. Attendance is taken.

Beware people leaving early, especially toward the end, and the strain this can cause on a dwindling crew.
Communicates well with early arrival setup / strike czar.

https://paper.dropbox.com/doc/Phage-Dome-Construction-and-Strike-BSDj5sg1Fps8zix4zgL6C
Interior design bent. At least one artistic bone in her/his body.

The kitchen the dinning room and our work tables all kind of wind up in the same place. Dividing up equipment between a main kitchen/dining and a snack zone is hard. People tend to steal tables from the dining area and leave them other places. Kitchen floor moop is terrible -- MUST TARP THE KITCHEN/DINING AREA THIS YEAR.
Talent for lighting design?Think : This could be interesting to think about if we get "Village" water... brought in / refilled on-site. The method of the relaxos is not too shabby. Maybe we have Institute Shower area? Build out 2- 4 stalls? (Relaxo has actually suggested this. They will build showers if we do the plumbing.)

If you fuck up the gray water-holding area, you'll have a disaster of nasty playa
Communicate people early and often throughout burn to minimize MOOP.

Recruit large number of helpers to demoop and don't let them escape!
Electrical engineering skills, acoustics, on-playa electrical setup, and a good ear for high quality sound.

Louder is not always better!

Be sure to find a few co-leads or helpers, especially to help on-playa during parties and events.
design skills welcomed by anyoneCommunicates well with early arrival setup / strike czar / lighting team.Punctuality is key for this role. M-F, must be able to wrangle people and start talks at 8pm nightly. It's essential to cut people off at exactly their time limit, both for talks and for questions. We want people to come listen, but not to resent that they're spending hours sitting in a dusty dome instead of out enjoying the nighttime playa.Medical trainingBike maintenance and repair knowledgeBring extra tap valve and gasketsThis is the best job.Angry, able to sort between LL stuff and Phage stuff, willing to throw things away
