I've never been a convertible role before(other than the Making History game but most people could be converted in that game so it doesn't quite count) and I can't wait to see how this goes. I'm not quite sure how I want to play this role right now. Like, I don't know if I want to drop hints to try and get converted early or if I want to just play a normal town game and see what happens.

I really do want to be converted since I always enjoy being a wolf, even if it doesn't go well, and the banana is the superior fruit. That said, I am starting off as town and it wouldn't really be in the spirit of the game to not do my best as town, even if I could become a wolf later on.

If I can play a decent town game, that could really help me out as a wolf so really, it's to my benefit to be a good townie up until the moment that I'm not a townie anymore. So, if you think about it, me doing my best to find my potential wolfy buddies like I'm town will actually help the whole team in the event that I do get converted. If I don't get converted, I just played a good town game and that's great on it's own.

Now for the difficult part, actually having a good town game. Oh boy, that's going to be rough.		everyone pleaaaaase confirm we dont want to make you vanilla :(I'm so happy we have Yellow-Beige in this go, it was painful watching wolves search for conversions last timehopefully everyone confirms :/Would be a shame if you got demoted heh O_O

(Kinda writing in a stream-of-thought here, in a very large confessional! Sorry if I confuse people :p)

The submitted hex-code for my color is actually one I commonly used and has a little bit of history. It was originally gotten from a random color generator. But I was looking for a color I liked and then applying a random username (that I thought of) to it.

The reason I needed it was because I originally found the game of Mafia (or Werewolves) through a Starcraft II mod called "-Mafia-" and it was something like Town Of Salem (the video game) but instead used the Starcraft II engine. In fact, the game Town Of Salem was mildly inspired from this mod in Starcraft II, if I have my facts straight. Anyways, what the game allowed was for players (who got enough points from playing) to create custom, anonymous, user-names for the duration of 1 game and could even have a unique hex-code color.

The one I submitted was actually part of a more common username I used, called "Obviously Evil" (code here:)

This is what I typed into the game's chat in order to get that name, in that color. Nowadays, having discovered Forum Mafia through (surprise) the forums *for that* mod about 13 months ago, I now just use it for coloring my host-posts on other forums. It's a very nice shade of color! I don't really use the forums for that mod anymore though, since they tended to be more uncivil and random compared to most other communities I checked out. If you're reeeallly curious though, it's called Sc2mafia.com .

It's technically my "homesite", but now I call it "one of my homesites" since I've since moved to primarily playing on The Syndicate (technically "MafiaTheSyndicate".com). The reason I came there was a few reasons:

1)Many (but not) of the players there are very very energetic and engaged with the game. As such, even though the site offers much freedom (especially to hosts) with a single community rule about the principle of "don't be an asshat", many games are not toxic nor unenjoyable. Unfortunately though, rarely games can involve grey areas if the Hosts don't setup their own rules before-hand on what's *acceptable* game-play. This is bad, as games can tread the line of just being out-right toxic and yet, if you take a specific or controversial perspective, somehow be acceptable game-play. Many rules and expectations are just "unwritten" there, but aren't exactly enforceable. However, as I said, many players there tend to be there for the game itself, so those kinds of incidents are rare and tend to occur most frequently as the result of culture shock after new players visiting from a different, usually more lenient, community.

2) Some players there are regarded to be highly skilled. They aren't guaranteed to be great every game, but they have enough skill or experience to preform better on average than most players. I tend to (but not always) have a self-improvement desire and so I view these sorts of games with them as both scary but also challenging with good opportunities to learn from every game. Especially since...

3) With the amount of freedom that's given on the site, especially to the hosts, there's a LARGE variety of forum mafia games with different mechanics that were played. Hardly any two games are the same! My favorite game (I'll link) was called Fallout 2, and it had a lot of factions. It was a chore to understand all the mechanics (and factions!) at first, but the whole game was a blast for me. Though we lost to a wolf in the final 3 :/. Was really close though!!! And with the site's popularity around fall and spring, and sometimes winter, there's generally up to 4 games running at the same time...and even once or twice 5! I'm really happy to be the Rainbow Child. I like the addition of it potentially spreading to other people through the people I have targeted. I wonder if the people that get glitterbombed by people that are not me will also get a PM. Adding to that, I wonder if I can be glitterbombed myself.

It could lead to pretty interesting moments if I happen to be glitterbombed because then I might be able learn who potentially has a visiting role. I don't really have a strategy going into this. Just trying to target people who'll think be around for the long run.

With a bit of luck I target someone who can visit someone every phase, that should up my chances of having my glitter spread all over Rainbow Town or whatever this place is called; I forgot.

Unfortunately there are lots of rules-observant and good at action planning people on the roster though, so figuring out which one it was is not going to be easy.

So there's a nick-name that I generally keep around on most sites (except Discord). You'll generally find around my profile or my signatures a mention of "AKA That One Idiot"

Remember when I mentioned that Starcraft II mod format of Mafia/Werewolves? If you don't, you should find my first random fact dump >:( !

Anyways, as you might've or might've not figured, that nick-name originated from me playing that format of Mafia. The reason I created that name, was kinda due to the culture in that game itself. It generally has a quite a few notable repeat-players who tend to be toxic or otherwise troll by simply intentionally making poor decisions. So if you messed up or somehow ruined someone's day by winning, you could get a daily dose involving content in the area of "people angry at you or trying to get you angry at them". Normally, most games and communities can fix this issue. However, unfortunately, since the very game exists as the modification to Starcraft II, it exists in sort of a legal grey area where neither the developer of Starcraft II nor the staff of the mod can really effectively treat it as most other places can. Sure, they can just ban them by changing the mod's code, but that takes a long while occasionally (even to just write up a proper report) and runs purely on a volunteer staff among other issues. So a big delay in the process and even burden on the reporter just to try to report them. It sucks, but if they tried to use another system of moderating the game, they would run into legal issues with the main Starcraft II game (in particular its "terms of service").

Anyways, long-story-short, toxicity is a problem that can't be solved quickly or easily. One day, I get fed up with people just getting angry at me. So, instead, I pre-emptively call myself an idiot for any stupid things I may do (because everyone does stupid at some point). And somehow, that actually worked. I don't know if they thought I was a troll or something, but people seemed less likely to get upset at me or try to get me upset. I thought it was a nice little achievement, and so I kept the name.

Nowadays though, I tend to keep it to remind myself that people tend to make mistakes. Occasionally I have gotten *very* involved and invested into a Forum Mafia game to a point whether it was healthy was questionable. And so now I keep the name to help remind myself that I may make mistakes and try to not get too invested.

And I think that's the end of my rambling there? I hope it makes some sense! Oh, and, here's the code I would use for the name, in the game:

I haven't been a neutral role often so I feel like I'm this weird kind of limbo where I don't know to what degree I should help town. Obviously I want town to win, but I can't let it happen too fast because I need time for my glittery goodness to spread (that sounds so gross, sorry).

I've targeted Martin for now, although maybe he'll get killed soon. The wolves targeting birdman kinda scared me because they were not suuper active just like me so I don't want them to target me next.

I'm also super curious how high the chances are someone I glittered will glitter someone else in their turn. Can people who were glittered in the second degree also glitter people? Do the chances of it spreading drop the further away from the source (aka me) it gets?

I do think I made a good choice of glittering Fire first, I kinda expected her to announce it. Now I do hope that my next targets don't announce anything, that will give me a strong defense when/if the time comes to reveal. In other news, the bananas are just kicking ass and taking names. There must have been at least 4-5 bananas I think and town hasn't managed to kill a single one. Something needs to change if they want to change the tide (if it's not already too late).

I'm almost 100% Fire is a wolf, I just get this feeling I can't explain it. Mod I hope I'm right.

My glittering is also going pretty badly. Phase 4 and only 2 people are glittered. It not spreading either means both Fire and Martin don't have a visiting role, don't have a daily visiting role or have a visiting role that causes their target to die (aka wolf).

I'm really unsure about who I should target next. If Mrrrh is really blue she will probably protect herself tonight which means she will survive another phase but then she won't be able to spread my glitters anyway if she gets killed next phase.

Honestly this phase 5 is rather concerning and not-concerning to me. NONE of the wolves left alive have voted within 22 hours of this phase starting. Only 3 towns haven't declared a vote yet! According to the vote tally that's been up for the past 5 hours, anyways.

On the plus side though, only one of the town votes is correct, and its by Violet on digg. This could mean that if the other options succeed today then town could tear itself apart as a result of this phase.

However, if town really picks up its coordination *just a bit more* then I'm going to be quite concerned for the woofs. A lot of towns have a least one wolf in their sights, and so there's always a slight chance here they can suddenly be sent down a path of discovering that. And if that happens, *not voting* here until the last 2 hours (Especially after my self-out and a whole bunch of new info and insights being said!!!) is not a good look to defend with.
