28/07/2020 02:37:12BaronessaAlex61It isn't even really clear to me how much Alexi spans because, despite managing to sneak some tone in there at least, he could be singing pretty much any note during those harsher sections. Legendary E4 skip in Axl's clip, but honestly I don't feel like it detracts from the momentum of the clip, of which there is plenty by the time the F♯5 hits the scene. The dynamics are a bit swimmy, but the singing itself is about as impressive as you can get out of this category.
Axl Rose: 4.5/5
Alexi Laiho: 2.5/5
Alex61I reeeally wish Ronnie spanned all of his range here in lead vocals, because the F♯2s being hidden in the backing vocals kind of detracts from the impact that the contrast between that and the C♯5 could have had. His notes themselves were quality, though, even if the performance feels a tad reserved for the category it's in. Marcella is a bit all over the place, but I feel like the song's dynamics kind of help her showcase more of her voice; the end result does 'feel' like a proper rangewanking clip, which is a good thing.
Marcella Detroit: 4.5/5
Ronnie Radke: 3.5/5

28/07/2020 12:08:23TaraAlex61Axl: Ooh damn! You got me there! I thought it was pretty nice until the last note blew me so far away that I became one with the wind. 5/5
Alx: Yeah sure okay, why not. It also sounds like more range than it is. He skram and I didn't even mind. 4.5/5
Alex61Kate Bush: That's really nice. I like the layers and the different tones. I never heard use of a harsh tone that sounded so cute. Unbelievably high ending too. 5/5 deal with it
Ronnie Radke: I could barely hear the low part at all, oof. They must be there somewhere, but if they are pushed so far back in the harmonies that they are hard to hear, then the clip may not be that suitable for the two octave+ category. I appreciate that he is doing his best and I liked the last part quite a bit. 3/5

28/07/2020 23:58:06claebAlex61Alx Rose61: that's a big octave 4.5/5

Clm: that was harsh but you know what isn't harsh? My scoring 4/5
Alex61Alex: good clip would listen again 4.5/5

Clem: good clip would probably not listen again 4.5/5

29/07/2020 06:14:36BassSquaredAlex61Axl Rose: Eegh. Y'know, as a piece of singing this is quite good- a lot of that high mix stuff Axl likes to use demonstrated in fine form, with a damn solid F#5 at the end, and it even introduces a semblance of dynamics, which is always nice. But I just can't get past that skipped section, man. It's one thing to skip a solo or instrumental break, but to plaster over eight seconds of vocals solely because he goes outside of the single octave mandated by the category feels wrong to me somehow. It's like saying you technically solved a Rubik's cube blindfolded, so long as you ignore the few seconds where you peeked. 3/5.

Alexi Laiho: Oh, uh... I guess this is technically one octave, considering a considerable part of it doesn't even have a melody. He does actually try in the choruses though, even if the results are predictably... questionable. Nice job Alexi Laiho, you get a participation cookie. 2/5.
Alex61Marcella Detroit: I expected this to be a lovely bit of high note wankery and was mostly proven correct. Honestly I'm not wild about the squeaky, choking-dolphin sound she's got going on at the beginning of the clip but as soon as she started belting things got much better. The low end wasn't quite as well-explored as I would have ideally liked in this category, but there's some nicely soaring falsetto stuff towards the end that I quite enjoyed, and combined with the belts it gave plenty of variety. 4/5.

Ronnie Radke: Not sure why there's been confusion over where the F#2s are, there's pretty clearly a lower octave harmony there at the beginning. I would disagree about this being his best performance (seeing as I think the song you used for his dynamics clip was better) but this is decidedly solid as a whole. The highs were nice and belty, and the lows had decent enough presence despite being harmonies. 3.5/5.

29/07/2020 22:59:41FalsetokaibaAlex61Clem- I will have to take your word for it about the range spanned there. I guess belting with that much distortion for that length of time is fairly impressive, but that is really the only part of the clip I can praise. I guess if you want an octave or less of extreme metal singing this basically does the job fine. 3/5.
Alex- Also hard to believe that clip spanned only an octave, but for much happier reasons :) Axl Rose did a great job tackling those challenging melodies and that ending F#5 was of course superb. 4.5/5.
Alex61Clem- I liked that a lot more than I was expecting to. Those F#2s were pretty strong, I found RR's mid-range tone a lot more palatable than usual, and those B4s at least were pretty impressive. Not so hot on the more 'screamed' C#5s but I guess it still adds another dimension to the clip. 4/5.
Alex- That was a pretty stellar clip, both pushing two different higher registers to the limit and switching between them pretty effectively, and those mid-rangey parts were nice too. I guess I usually go into this looking for impressive lows as well as highs so it maybe loses out a bit to the Ronnie clip in that regard, but still spans well in excess of two octaves in spectacular fashion regardless. 4.5/5.
