Leaving Green:

No Player must delay play by leaving the rink of play or their team unless their opponent agrees, and then only

If a Player has to leave the green due to illness or other reasonable cause and cannot return within 10 minutes the Umpire

or Controlling Body can approve the introduction of a substitute. (Rule 33.2).

Bowls Stickers:

If used, bowls stickers must be applied to all bowls of a player.

Smoking and Alcohol:

As laid down by Bowls New Zealand and Bowls Manawatu the following policies will apply:

There shall be no smoking anywhere in a Clubhouse or on the greens. Smoking may only occur in designated smoking areas.

The consumption of alcohol is restricted to the Clubhouse in accordance with the Club’s licence.

Consumption of alcohol on the greens or surrounds is strictly prohibited.

Alteration to Format & Length of Games:

The Controlling Body reserves the right to alter the format, times of play and greens to suit unforeseen circumstances,

giving as much notice as possible.

When a programme is interrupted or unable to be completed due to inclement weather or local conditions,

the Controlling Body may amend the format and length of games to achieve a result.
