| 1 | I was at the first Blackboard Ultra meeting and we told the designers of a problem. They said they would fix before it was released. It was released without it being fixed and it is still not fixed today. Who can we contact about this unkept promise to fix this problem | Jim Christianson | Jim, we are struggling with the Q&A for some reason. not everyone can see it. I've taken a photo of your question and will ensure someone reaches out. | Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart
| 1 | I was at the first Blackboard Ultra meeting and we told the designers of a problem. They said they would fix before it was released. It was released without it being fixed and it is still not fixed today. Who can we contact about this unkept promise to fix this problem | Jim Christianson | Hi Jim. I would suggest you email blackboardultra@austincc.edu and copy Dr. Erasmus Addae (erasmus.addae@austincc.edu). I’m not sure what specific problem you’re referring to, so please put the details in an email. Thanks! | Gaye Lynn Scott
| 2 | What is the status of putting adjuncts at ACC under social security rather the Arizonia program we are now in for retirement. | Jim Christianson | I believe we have received some information that tells us there would be huge costs associated with this option. Neil might know more. | Gaye Lynn Scott
| 2 | What is the status of putting adjuncts at ACC under social security rather the Arizonia program we are now in for retirement. | Jim Christianson | There are financial implications, both to the college and to the employees paying in. Should the college move in this direction, it would require a deeper conversation with the Board and the shared governance orgs about what the costs would be. | Chris Cervini
| 3 | What happens to those who did not complete the compliance? | Dan Dydek | We follow up with them and their divisional leadership to determine that on a case by case basis. | Kelly Torrico
| 4 | How will implementations be managed and will there be additional support for departments for larger projects:? | Laurie Dillon | Hi Laurie. Are you asking about management outside of what was just presented? Management of implementation will be supported by EPMO, the Business Sponsors, etc. And to Russell’s point, implementation is often going to be about changing processes or expectations or a shared understanding of the work that builds on collaborative engagement. | Gaye Lynn Scott
| 5 | It has been 8 years since the Pinnacle campus was closed. The Pinnacle Next Steps webpage has not been updated since 2022. In my opinion, we are doing a disservice to our Southwest service area to make students come all the way to SAC. Are there any updates in this area? | Chris Davis | Yes. There is funding in the 2022 bond for Pinn. The current building is partially rented to the company developing the Oak Hill Y. As that project winds down we are starting to work with additional external stakeholders about what a true community engagement campus looks like on the site. This may mean a campus building plus a collaborative partnership. Our hope is to move forward with planning soon. | Chris Cervini
| 6 | Have we consixered developing a jail-education partnership program to serve the community members in the the TC Correctional Complex out that way? | April Adams (she/her) | We do some work (in Continuing Education) with correctional facilities, for instance in Lockhart. We piloted ae educational oportunity in the Travis County facility. We continue to explore what works best for those potential students. | Gaye Lynn Scott
| 7 | Are there any plans for a SW campus since the Pinnacle has been closed for years? | Candyce Eskew (she/her) | I expect that Chris Cervini, who is typing an asnwser to Chris Davis’s question about Pinnacle, will be answering your question there. | Gaye Lynn Scott

| 8 | At ACC we have always been good at project design and implementation. It is the loop back process (CQI) that has been neglected. I didn't see any loop back process once implementation has occured. How does the process continue after implementation (step 9)? I would assume it shouldn't start over at step 1 but reinsert somewhere within the chain? It might benefit the process to consider the redesign/update once implementation has occurred. I hope that makes sesnse. | Don Morris | We are trying to move to a culture of continous improvement. That will be evident in the Institutional Effectiveness Report Card, the Program Review Health Score Card, etc. And certainly the EPMO office supports the development of approaches to ongoing assessment of our work in the ToC designs. | Gaye Lynn Scott

| 10 | When you say talk to the Montopolis community and communities around RVS, what does that look like? Can you expand on that | ACC-Marisa Martinez | The city is currently going through a round of community engagement about development in the area and one of the knocks on the process has been that the folks at the meetings have been developers and other stakeholders instead of actual long time residents. Our goal would be to use our on-campus team and existing relationships to have deep conversations and visioning sessions about what the community (both the college and the local neighbors) would want to see from the RVS space as an opportunity opens up when the skilled trades programs move to the new se Travis. This is a great opportunity to revision RVS hand in hand with our local community, NGO, government, and other partners. | Chris Cervini
| 11 | When can the 10-20% of Student Affairs/ Basic Needs staff awaiting news on compensation and pay scale adjustments, expect to receive an updated timeline from HR? | D'Shaun Herman | Good morning! We are working to wrap up this within the next month. Apologies its taken so long, but so much is at stake when it comes to compensation we cannot afford not to get it right. More soon, I promise. Hold me to that and if you need direct support from the Chancellor's Office, please email me and I'll work to assist you. | Aaron Henry
| 11 | When can the 10-20% of Student Affairs/ Basic Needs staff awaiting news on compensation and pay scale adjustments, expect to receive an updated timeline from HR? | D'Shaun Herman | Thanks for the opportunity to clarify this. 100% of SA & BN staff positions will be evaluated and, in collaboration with leaders in those divisions, validated to the updated compensation and classification framework. Since those divisions are finalizing getting us the information, we plan to be able to conclude mapping and validation with the divisions in the coming month or two. Staff whose salaries will be adjusted to the new rainges will receive that communication once we've completed review of all positions in both divisions. | Kelly Torrico
| 12 | In the design and move to a new space, accessibity is a large factor that is not always considered. Will the Access and Disability Support team be included in that conversation when the time comes? | Tyler and Ryia Whitfield | Yes! We will are conducting a full accessibility assessment fo the potential property. Also, we just finalized our district-wide accessability audit. This is going to presented to the Cabinet after we get back from Break, and then will be shared college-wide soon there after. It is very good work, and will clearly show us where we need to improve in this regard | Neil Vickers
| 13 | Why do Faculty get to create their own accountability/progressive discipline policy, but Staff Associations didn't get that opportunity? | Teri Rogers | Hi, Teri! Staff associations were collaborated with on that! | Kelly Torrico
| 14 | Good morning. Faculty and staff recently received communication about updated safety regulations concerning events in Buildings 1000 & 4000 on Highland Campus. As a part of this communication, we were told it will be faculty and staff’s responsibility to obtain permits from the City of Austin to hold “open assembly” events with more than 49 people in those buidlings. We were also told that HLC also has 12 permits allowed annually and no ACC office is tracking permits. How will we ensure that student-centered events are priortized in these permitting processes (as opposed to external events or conferences)? Are there plans for tracking event permits across the college? Lastly, are there plans to improve event communication and planning at ACC in the future? This has already improved greatly in the past few semesters, but this recent communication has led to student-centered events to be cancelled abruptly. | Olivia Spiers | Let's connect after break -- me Mike Garcia, Michelle Raymond and you. THis biggest challenge is bldg 4000 only has one safe point of egress -- creating a safety challenge for large events. We can work on configurations but the space is challenged. | Chris Cervini
| 15 | Will we see improvements to the remainder of the NRG parking lots? What about increased security given recent break ins? | Rise Lara | live answered | Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart
| 15 | Will we see improvements to the remainder of the NRG parking lots? What about increased security given recent break ins? | Rise Lara | We are making our way through all of the parking lots, so "yes". | Neil Vickers
| 16 | @Kelly what happens if a staff member in one of those positions where compensation is affected - transitions to a new position before you are finished with the work. would they still get the back pay | ACC FA - Marissa Burill | It depends on the effective dates but we ARE looking comprehensively at those cases individually. | Kelly Torrico
| 17 | Would it be possible for dual credit and/or CE to use the RVS workforce space, once those programs move out? | Mike Shoebroek | I think all ideas are welcome. That’s part of the re-envisioning process for RVS. CE and dual credit, AE, more student services, etc. | Gaye Lynn Scott
| 18 | What are the plans with Pinnacle? | Alberto’s iPad | See Chris Cervini's response to this question earlier. Thanks | Neil Vickers
| 19 | Any updates on building 5000 at highland? | Efrain Aguilar | No | Neil Vickers
