How to Use This Venue Comparison Spreadsheet

Important: You must click File → Make a Copy to save this spreadsheet to your own Google Drive.
If you do not make a copy, your changes will not be saved.

Start by clicking on the Venue Comparison+A5:A44 Tab.

1. Enter your venue budget.

Type your total venue budget into Cell E3.

Add your total expected guest count in Cell E5.

In Row 8, type the name of each venue you’re comparing.

Enter each venue’s details in its corresponding column - pricing, packages, services, restrictions, amenities, and anything else useful for comparison.

5. Customize your comparison

Column A includes additional suggestions you may want to add to your spreadsheet, depending on the type of ceremony and reception you’re planning. These ideas are simply there to help you tailor the sheet to what matters most to you. You can hide Column A at any time by clicking the + or – sign at the top of the column.

6. Add more venues or categories as needed

If you want to compare additional venues or add more detail, right‑click and choose Insert row or Insert column wherever you need it.

7. Add comments or special notes

Use Row 101 under each venue to record any additional notes, pros/cons, or reminders.

Important: If you add rows or columns, some formulas may need to be adjusted to calculate correctly.

Using the Additional Venue Photos Tab

The Additional Venue Photos tab has columns for each venue where you can add photos.

1. Venue names and locations auto‑populate from the Venue Comparison tab.
If you need to adjust them, you can type directly into the cells or paste updated info.

You can type them directly or copy and paste them from the Venue Comparison tab for consistency.

2. Add photos for each venue

Insert photos from your venue tour or from the venue’s website by clicking:

Insert → Image → Image in cell, then choose your photo.

3. Use the pre‑made image blocks

We’ve created consistent blocks for each image.

If you need more, highlight the last two rows of blocks, right‑click, and Copy → Paste as many as you need below. This keeps all column heights aligned and clean.
