Definitions

MeldA sequence (three sequential tiles of the same suit), triplet (3 identical tiles) or quad (4 identical tiles)

Standard Yaku Simply requires 4 melds plus 1 pair to create (this is not an actual term, this is just how this cheat sheet is divided up)

CallUsing Chi, Pon, or Kan to pick up a discarded tile for completing a meld.

MenzenchinRefers to a closed hand wherein your tiles are not revealed via a call

Closed MeldRefers to a meld that was not created using a call

Identical SequenceTwo or more sequences of the same number and suit
15
Identical Triplet/QuadTwo or more triplets/quads all using the same number, but different suits (does not apply to honor tiles)
16
Suited TilesAny of the tiles with numbers 1 - 9 (Man, Pin, and Sou)
17
Honor TilesRefer to any of the Dragon or Wind type tiles
18
Terminal TilesRefer to the 1 or 9 of each suited tile
