If the short wing throws this flag, they need to hold
that spot until someone picks it up for them. Then go
report to the R. The official standing on the flag
also serves as an easy reference for enforcement.

2A2/20 @ A-25 /RFP/25The spot of the foul is BEHIND the neutral zone(NZ), enforce the foul from the previous spot9-3-3
10-2-2b
Proper flag placement noting that this foul happens in the backfield is
important. Recognition by R/U/SW that this flag is behind the previous
spot helps us know we are walking this off from the previous spot

3A2/8 @ A-37 /RFP/25The spot of the foul is BEYOND the end of the run, enforce the foul from the end of the run. 9-3-3
10-2-2c

If deeps/U throw this, SW's need to hold their spots. This helps to visually see the flag is beyond the end of the run and they can walk back from the end of the run. If the short throws, the DW needs to come pick up his spot at the end of the run while SW reports to the R.

Report to R: "Offensive Holding #55, the foul occured behind the end of the run."
When reporting, the R doesn't need your category or a play by play. WHAT is the foul, WHO is the foul on, WHERE did it occur. Stay with R until we decide what the outcome will be

5Try for 1 is good The holder is allowed to come off a knee or pick a ball up off the ground and spot it for the kicker.4-1-3bR is likely the only one looking at this in 7man. As a short wing, if you see something suspicious it is ok to confirm what happaned with R immediately after the play. That being said, this is R's call the entire way.

6Try for 1 is goodThe holder is allowed to come up from his knee and go back down immediately to complete the kick. There is no rule stating he cannot come off a knee then return in one action to complete the kick4-1-3bR has this the whole way. Short wings likely should not have an opinion on this

7Try for 1 is good. As long as the ball hasn't changed possession, hasn't crossed the LOS and still has a player in position to kick the ball, the holder can still go down on their knee, spot the ball and the play will remain live. 4-1-3bThis requires patience by the R and the LOS. It's also good to check in with each other quickly, just to confirm "did I just see what I think I saw". Likely, there will be some processing going on by the officials on the field with this. If you know it's legal, chime in quickly to provide a quick reassurance to the crew we are good.

8A1/20 @ A-25 /RFP/25Whether this happens during the run or the pass does not change enforcement in this case. The spot of the foul does have implications as it occurs BEHIND the NZ which means we will go from the previous spot regardless of pass or run. 9-3-3
10-2-2b
Recognition of where this flag is in relation to the NZ is important. It occurs behind the NZ so we will enforce this from the previous spot. 1st down plays make these enforcements a bit easier. If were done with enforcement in this scenario and it is 1st & 22, we know we messed something up. Deeps, be ready with clock status when R finishes his announcement.

9A1/25@ A-20 /RFP/25This is foul for a block below the waist. While A77's block may be legal if it is directed from the front, it is illegal as the ball has left the tackle box.
This foul occurs BEHIND the NZ. Personal fouls by A behind the NZ will be enforced at the previous spot(A35).

Short wings and R are likely going to be the ones to get this with some help from U. Go slow on enforcement and recognize that the flag is behind the NZ and with this type of foul we have to go back to the previous spot. SW's, make sure your down box stays put, we need to go from that spot. Deeps, remind R we have a live clock following his announcement

10A1/27 @ A-18 /RFP/25
Announce 1st UNS on A77
Not all fouls by A are enforced at the
previous spot. Fouls enforced from the previous spot are:
-illegal use of hands
-holding
-illegal blocks
-personal fouls

A live ball UNS will be enforced from the spot of the foul

10-2-2-2b
Good preventative officiating is needed here. R&U need
to stay with the players that go to the ground and then
use a big, loud voice to let them know you're there
"It's done, it's done, it's done. Let him up!"
From there we timing is important. Is this action live ball(during the play)or dead ball(after the player is down or scores)? That makes the difference in enforcement(Live ball-Spot of the foul; Dead ball-succeeding spot).
