Initial Discovery LogCurrent Organised NotesMap - all but 3 boards placed
27
Flashing boards in morse code translate to G or T I? Prob G bc 7th letter and all that, If T I could mean Timeline IntegrityOnce all episodes are released, the boards complete an 11x11 grid on the map, for 121 episodes of Lost. Our Figma map now has almost all of the available boards from S1, 2 & 3 placed.
28
Eps w/ flashes: 1, 4, 7, 11, 12, 13, 16, 20, 22, 23We have some contradiction issues with where Mike has placed boards in the S2 video, and the location of S3 boards. Also having issues figuring out exactly where to place the grid, and how big the squares should be. I think some of our green squares are off as well, they're harder to match as the contours of the island are tricky.
29
0, +3, +3, +3, +1, +1, +3, +4, +2, +1 - prob means nothing lmaoThe codes will tell us how to read/use the map maybe? Some kind of multi-layered cipher.
30
10 flashes = 10 map locationsCiphers can often be solved with 7 letter words, I think MSKLUGH will be relevant in the decoding process
31
4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 - extra 23 on ep7 and 8 on ep13I think the codes that flash specifically are important, as their structure seems sequential, unlike the entire list of codes. I think we still need to use the entire list of codes to decode, but the flash codes start at 7 letters, then adding numbers, then adding slashes, then 6 slashes.
32
Flash codes seem sequential Do the slashes represent 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42?
33
Hashtags Mike mentioned assist with decode? Downloaded transcript and searched for all #s and timecodesSlashes might relate to flash backs and flash forwards? I’m hesitant to get into that though, because I don’t think each code relates to its episode, I think they’re part of one big puzzle. Because what’s the point in having a specific episode code message? Unsure though
34
#SADFACE and #THEQUESTIONMARK to do with decoding bc symbols?I really thought the #s were relevant but after seeing that the questions also have the same title card format, I think it's too many extra things to be relevant. ah well. EDIT I take it back the #s are relevant I reckon ahahahahha who knows
35
"She said she knows your beard's fake Tom." is said 13 times - if I counted rightSomeone decoding on the Reddit got CGI ERA, kinda interesting
36
Can break ciphers with 7 letter words, noted the 7 letter words from the hashtags but no luck yet - thinking "VISIONS" is relevant bc it was the only one with no title cardFlashes from S2 in morse code translates to S & S3 translates to G. S is the 19th letter, G is the 7th. Haven't checked for flashes in S1 yethttps://www.figma.com/design/eoG9le1FyULj16cjz442fZ/MM-Lost-S3-Map?node-id=0-1&t=DsgiXrQdHXB11Nbi-1

This is open to edit, come check it out!

Omg Ms. Klugh is 7 letters ooooEp 22 & 23 are supposed to be treated like the same episode, so perhaps their code is read together. Thinking maybe codes are paired off, so there'd be 22 total codes, which coincidentally is 11+11. Does this relate to the map somehow? I was also thinking once the codes are figured out perhaps it's like battleship coordinates A1, B2 etc - but the codes use 18 letters total. Could make it 20 if / and \ were for some reason included
38
Must be multiple layers of cipher - Case64?? XOR?? Vigenère??? Rip Ciphering da numbas in vertical strings reveals that each column adds up to the following numbers in this order: 5 7 17 18 23 30 34. My wild theory is that these might be like the MMCU numbers like an alternate reality from the Lost numbers... prob ignore me tho
39
I think we need to go back to S1 & 2 and screenshot the ep boards, so that we can fill out the map puzzle using the colours as clues - in future when all seasons are released, all ep boards will complete full mapOkay theory time, so what if the ep title tells us what the 7 letter cipher should be, the code gives us a further hint, and we pull the available letters from the #s or qs to get a word. I think the words will later need to be unscrambled into a phrase/put into a link
40
End of S2 Lost video has boards in formation, matches up with the bottom of the island. They also flash, looking into the significance nowFor E1, we got Charles Dickens from the title being A Tale of Two Cities, and it revealed Line Search. Line Search is something used in machine learning to optimise a function’s value as much as possible, I've been looking into it and its pretty complex but that's it in a nutshell. It is also directional which could later relate to the map when we have a full phrase. I guess we didn't use the code much for this though, but it does have some of the letters from Charles Dickens
41
My theory is that the codes will tell us how to use/read the map once we've decoded themFor E20, The Man Behind The Curtain could refer to the guy from the Wizard Of Oz, he influences from behind the scenes often while appearing to be less involved. This links to the code K9, to Vincent, as he is just a dog but at times guides characters, so we pulled from the #s letters and got Invent.
42
There's 3 flashes at the end of the S2 video, might be morse code for S? so we have G being the 7th letter from the S3 morse code, and S being the 19th We know we're supposed to treat ep 22 & 23 as connected, which would explain why there's no code for that one! Mike wouldn't be able to make a second hint bc they have the same title
43
There's also extra numbers on the S1 & 2 video boards, now we gotta trawl through that tooooo, Mike pls stop encouraging this jobless behaviour helpThe thing that makes this theory a bit tricky is E17 doesn't have any hashtags or questions, BUT bc it's called Catch 22 maybe it relates to the 2+2=7 something idk
44
okay so through the looking glass was written by lewis carroll, carroll has 7 letters, the #s are:
45
PROFESSIONAL
46
WHOISINTHECASKET
47
makes LOCAL bc carroll has two Ls
48
Catch 22 written by Joseph Heller, if we use the 2+2=7 thing (which he says during this ep specifically btw) as the stand in for #s:
49
SEVEN
50
Makes see
51
Running into an issue with this, if we use the qs as well as the #s for this decoding strat, invent from vincent no longer works because of the q "WHY DID JACOB SAY ‘HELP ME’?".
52
So I think we're not supposed to use the qs for this, which means that E7, E11, and E17 don't have any #s or qs to pull from.
53
Interesting that they all involve seven though!!! E17 bc of the number and 2+2=7, E11 is called Enter 77, and ofc E7. Maybe we use SEVEN as the cipher for all of them hmmmm I'll keep looking into it
54
My theory is right now that there's actually two things happening, the titles and #s reveal words that are an instructional phrase, and the codes still need to be unscrambled to reveal a url which may or may not use the words in some way. the only time we really had to use a code to get a word was K9, so maybe there are some cheeky hints spread throughout too idkkk
