How to Use - Quick Version
9
1.Select one of the premade routes below. Most are optimized for distance travelled, not necessarily straightaways for slipstream.
10
11
2.Download the associated .zip file containing the keybind files. Extract the keybind files, and place them into your STO /live/ folder.
12
Feel free to run a virus scan on the .zip file before you open it. They were virus-free when uploaded, but there's no reason not to practice good internet security.
13
14
Example /Live/ folder locations:
15
Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Cryptic Studios > Star Trek Online > Live
16
Windows (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Star Trek Online_en > Star Trek Online > Live
17
C: > Users > <user> > Games > Cryptic Studios > Star Trek Online > Live
18
C: > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > star trek online > Star Trek Online > Live
19
20
3.Log into STO, and go into sector space. Travel to a point about 4-5 LY away from the designated Start location for the route you chose.
21
22
4.Type in the following command:
23
/bind_load_file TtG1.txt
24
25
5.Pick up the mission. This starts the timer.
26
You can find the mission in the 'Available' tab of your mission window. Scroll down until you find 'Tour the Galaxy (Daily)' offered by Jay Yim.
27
28
6.Press 'b' to begin your tour. Your ship should then begin traveling toward the Start location. If your ship does not move, please check the parking brake and that you are in the correct quadrant.
29
30
7.At each point along the route, the mission should update, usually near the center of each system. When it does, press 'b' again to continue toward your next destination.
31
Each of these routes includes one Transwarp or Zone Change into another quadrant. The keybind will tell you when this needs to happen.
32
Transwarps have to be done manually. Open your Transwarp menu and select the correct destination. If you arrive inside a System, you will need to exit to Sector Space before pressing 'b' again to continue your tour.
33
Zone changes have to be done manually. The keybind will take you to the border of the zone. When you see the popup asking if you wish to travel across the border, you will need to manually allow the border crossing. Once across, press 'b' again to continue your tour.
34
35
8.Collect your easy 925,000 Energy Credits when you complete the entire tour. If you aren't able to complete the whole thing at this time, keep working at it and improving your setup. You'll get there eventually!
36
There are still payouts at each of the systems you do visit within the allotted time, making this a very useful means to earn more Energy Credits. Good luck!

All binds for these Premade Routes use 'b' for the key. You will have to make your own or edit the files if you wish to use a different key.
52
Sheets containing additional info on each of these Premade Routes are hidden. You will need to make your own copy of the spreadsheet to view them.
53
54
How to Use - Advanced
55
Try the 'Make Your Own' sheet. You can select the sequence of your destinations, the key you wish to bind, and the base name of the bindfiles.
56
57
1.The first thing you need to do if you want to use this spreadsheet is to make your own copy of it. To do this, select File -> Make a copy. Keep in mind, your copy will not be updated when I make updates to this spreadsheet, but it will the link at the top where you can always find the latest version of the spreadsheet.
58
2.Play around with the 'Make Your Own' sheet. It is best to only change the cells that have borders around them. Changing anything else has the potential to break the spreadsheet. Use only one Transwarp or Zone Boundary per route. At this time, using more than one will result in an unfinished tour.
59
3.If you ever think you broke your copy of the spreadsheet, download a fresh copy!
60
4.Go tour the galaxy, earn rewards, have fun!

About the Keybinds
63
Most of the keybinds consist of 3 distinct commands. Pressing the key once will activate all three of these commands.
64
65
1:NavToPosition - This command takes three arguments, and tells your character or ship to navigate to a specific point on the map.
66
Format:NavToPosition <x> <y> <z>
67
Example:NavToPosition 3449 162 -5799
68
69
All coordinates used in this spreadsheet were obtained with /loc while positioned as close as possible to 0 LY from each system.
70
71
2:bind_load_file - This command tells the game to load another keybind file. In the context used for these keybinds, it loads the bindfile that will take you to the next destination in your tour.
72
Format:bind_load_file <filename.txt>
73
Example:bind_load_file TtG12.txt
74
75
3:Playersay - This command makes a text bubble above your character containing whatever message follows the command. I do not think other players can see these.
76
Format:Playersay <message>
77
Example:Playersay Now heading to the Alini System.
78
79
Combining these 3 commands into a single bind requires use of $$ to connect them. The combined keybind takes the following format in the bindfiles:
80
<key> "NavToPosition <x> <y> <z> $$ bind_load_file <filename.txt> $$ Playersay <message>"
81
82
This bind is placed by itself in a bindfile. A sequence of 34 bindfiles makes up each route.
