8		Before today I had never made repairs to my academy and over the last two and a bit seasons it had dropped right down to worthless.

10		So as I had saved up 100 ITS to use today, I decided that instead of just upgrading from worthless to superb as quickly as possible, that I would stop after each upgrade and record the number of ITS that I could allocate at each level and for each age group.

12		The results of this research can be found in the table on the following sheet.

14		The table shows the starting condition of my academy (worthless) and then the status after each of the 11 upgrades required to get it to superb.

16		On the table, there is a column that I have labelled sub-levels. As we know, each upgrade is slightly less than one level*. This column attempts to show the approximate sub-level after each upgrade.
17		*Note: Since this study was done, the rate of academy improvement has changed. Each upgrade now gives exactly one level of improvement.

19		For example, my academy started at worthless and after one upgrade it was still worthless. This happened again at strong. This indicates two key findings for my academy:

21		# That the starting position for my academy was 1. I'm not sure, but this may be as low as you can go. (If it was any higher than this, then I would not have been able to have two upgrades at Strong).
22		# A single repair upgrades by just under 0.9 of a level - ie it is 0.89999999 etc of a level. On the table I have rounded to two decimal places but the pattern is the same when using more decimal places.

24		Also, if you try to do another upgrade after reaching Superb, you get a message saying:

26		Your youth academy is already in superb condition, which is the best that it can be.

28		So I found this to be a very interesting exercise and I hope that my recording of this information proves to be of some use to others.
