INTRODUCTION
9
10
This manual is provided simply as reference to help Exhibitiors and Sponsors
11
-minimize shipping, import and export issues when bringing into Japan.
12
13
Each Exhibitor or Sponsor must make their own arrangements for permanent
14
or temporary admittance of goods.
15
All expenses connected with these arrangments are the responsibility
16
of the Exhibitor or Sponsor.
17
18
The Organizers do not assume any responsibility or liability over related expenses,
19
or taxes, of materials held in customs and not cleared in due time.
20
21
We strongly recommend Exhibitors seek the advice of KSA International Inc. for
22
shipment of goods in order to avoid delays at Customs, and
23
non-clearance of goods.
24
25
It is the Exhibitors' responsibility to ensure that their exhibits are covered by
26
adequate insurance for shipment during the show, re-packing and
27
re-export from the Exhibition.

88
Please note that we recommends using ATA Carnet for
89
the entry of any items just for the exhibition.
90
If you have any questions, please contact us in advance.
91
92
In the case of Air shipment
93
ATA Carnet normally travels with the cargo (shipper lodges it
94
with the carrier and the carrier delivers it to the appointed broker
95
at the destination).
96
97
In the case of Ocean shipment
98
ATA Carnet is usually couriered to the custom broker at the destination
99
just after the ship has sailed out.
