4	Baronessa and Praetoria	Prima & Violeta	Yes	All our officers need deputies (please consider having specific jobs for your deputies, or deputies that might be interested in being a general deputy). There has been much discussion within the Society about DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). We will continue to uphold our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion statement. We will continue to be a light in the darkness.
5	Seneschal	Ceindrech 2/24-2/26	Yes	The Seneschal's job has been going really well because everyone is pitching in.
6	Herald	Gwen 12/22-12/26	Yes	Not much new news since the last meeting. Court at 12th night. Gwen has not one, not two, but three deputies! (HA, HA ,HA). Need to make sure documentation is set before submitting to the College of Arms. Goals are to get the OP kept up to date and training deputies.
7	Knight Marshal	Guillaume 10/23-10/25	Yes	Fighter practices continue to happen. There is an interruption due to elevator maintenance. Does not have deputies but there are a lot of warranted marshals in the barony. Need youth loaner equipment. Brandubh to bring to winter practice site.
8	Minister of Arts and Sciences	Ishiyama 2/23-2/25	Yes	This is last meeting as A&S minister. Two letters, from Eamon and Elinor. There was a lot of A&S at Twelfth Night, which was great! Michi is our new A&S champion. There was a good display and lots of largesse.
9	Chronicler	Silence 2/24-2/26	Yes (online)	Report submitted to Kingdom and Q4 newsletter is on the website. Chronicler does not have a deputy and has one year left on term. Looking for a deputy who can help collate content (collect it and add to Google drive) A request from Their Excellencies, to get printed copies of the Althing so they can be handed out.
10	Exchequer	Hara 6/23-6/25	Yes	We still have money. We have not spent all our budget. I will be calling for letters in April and have a deputy who is on the signature card. Need inventory from the Steward.
11	Minister of Lists	Skjoldr 2/24-2/26	Yes (online)	Not to much going on. Ran the fencing and heavy stellar tournies a couple of weeks ago.
12	Chatelaine	Svava 10/22-10/26	Yes	We are officially in the St. Patrick's Day parade (March 15th). Deputy will be helping out for the parade. We need a truck and trailer. There are a handful of deputies and more are welcome.
13	Web Minister	Niall 4/23-4/25	Yes (online)	End of first term is coming up in April, 2025. Call for letters but is also planning to stay on. There is space on the kingdom server and the existing website has been copied to the kingdom server. The website redesign is in progress (primary goal is getting the current website functional on the new server). Second priority is getting the new email addresses set up.

23	Iris Festival - Niamh			Planning is moving along. Pre-reg form is posted and is available. Working on getting demos throughout the day on Japanese themed activities. Anyone interested in doing a class or demo, please reach out. Rouland running heavy, Robert McEwin running fencing. Looking for marshal to run thrown weapons.

30	A&S Minister vote- 2 candidates- letters below.			Svava motioned, Violeta seconded. Elle was voted as the new A&S minister to replace Ishiyama.
31		To Their Excellencies, Baronesssa Violeta and Praetoria Prima; Magister Ceindrech verch Elidir, Seneschal; and Shonagon Ishiyama Gen'tarou Yori'ie, Baronial A&S Minister does Drotin Eamonn na Laimhe bid greetings. I'm writing today to express my interest in becoming the next Baronial A&S Minister. As A&S Minister for the Barony, I would like to do more formal A&S activities in the Barony both at and outside of events. During my first term, I would like to: Hold at least one Artisan's Display where the artisans sit with their work and can explain their work and answer questions. Bring back Blazing Comet/Iron Comet. This would provide a broader event within the Barony where the martial and A&S Communities can interact and share space. At events where we are holding A&S, I would like to make them more interactive. For example: using the Artisan's Playtime or Guild Hall formats at an event, rather than focusing on displays. I would also like to host an additional A&S Night to the one currently being held monthly by Her Ladyship, Elinor Walden and would work with her to find a date that we think would work for the Barony. My goal is to build more community and provide more opportunities for the A&S Community and provide support to all artisans so they can share their work and grow as artists. 32		To the baronage and officers of the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands, I write this missive to declare my intent to stand for election to the office of Baronial Minister of Arts and Sciences at the February 2025 business meeting. Supporting arts and sciences in the barony has been a longtime pursuit and goal of mine since joining the society and I owe my continued participation in our society to the community built by a shared love of historical arts. Since becoming active in the barony, I have held A&S competitions and displays, facilitated largesse derbies and arranged for largesse baskets for the coronations of our monarchs, and I have hosted monthly A&S Nights and Scriptoriums in my home. I joined the SCA to find a community of artists with whom I could learn from and grow and when they did not gather as often as I wanted in the wake of the pandemic, I set out to create the opportunities that I wished to have. As Baronial A&S Minister, I would continue to host these gatherings, as well as support and promote the numerous A&S guilds of the barony so that all artists, new or old, may easily find their community. I would like to publish a monthly email and social media post, reminding our populace when and where our guilds and artists are meeting that month and highlighting any events or opportunities of interest, as I have done sporadically in the past. By keeping abreast of what each guild and group is doing in this way, quarterly reports to the kingdom and bimonthly reports to the barony will be straightforward as well. When we have new members interested in our arts and sciences, they often come in with their own specific goals and interests in the arts and do not always immediately find the mentors they might desire. Instead of relying on the memories of our chatelaine and A&S minister in such a large barony, I would like to create a page on our website that acts as a directory of sorts, with willing Laurels and Fleurs d'Æthelmearc listed with their field of expertise. Finally, we often treat A&S communities and the martial communities as separate entities, like two halves of a couple who show up at events together but then spend their time apart until they reunite at court. However, we all know this to not be true, and we have many fighters with artistic pursuits and craftsmen who pick up a sword or bow every weekend. As A&S Minister, I would like to increase how often these communities come together and work towards a shared goal of historical research. The Skyguard Historical Archery Guild is a great example of this, as it combines both the martial interests of increasing your Royal Round scores while also promoting the research and crafting of historically accurate arrows, quivers, and targets. I would use my position as A&S minister to facilitate similar collaborative opportunities to promote historical research within the fencing, fighting, equestrian, and thrown weapons communities, so that we all may work towards the historical reenactment that our nonprofit educational society is built on. 34	Coronation Bid			We submitted a bid for Coronation. Awaiting official announcement if we got the bid.
35	Communication- we still have problems with getting information out and finding it again. For instance, the 12th Night schedule. No printed copies is ok if we can find it, but lots of folks couldn't. It was an image of a pretty PDF, but that means it's not searchable and can't be read by text readers. For instance, there was still at least one person who ended up in the wrong place because our direction links weren't all right.
