Course DescriptionThis course provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamental principles of corporate finance. It covers key topics such as financial statement analysis, time value of money, capital budgeting, cost of capital, capital structure, dividend policy, and financial planning. Through case studies, practical exercises, and projects, students will develop the skills necessary to make informed financial decisions in a corporate setting. The course emphasizes both theoretical concepts and real-world applications, preparing students for careers in finance, management, and consulting.The course meets for a minimum of 45 hours per seven-week period. Students receive 4 Oberlin University credits for passing with a minimum grade of a D.

Course ObjectivesBy the end of this course, students will be able to:
