4/25/20202:00:00 PM0:42:10It started raining exactly at Start time. Purposely chose the suboptimal straight route to 17 to avoid dogleg. I made good time there by stitching together some deer trails, but there are problems: there are other clearings in the woods and the clearing with the control is no longer a clearing because it is filled by a downed tree. Of course, if you approach from above, there is no difficulty. Heavy S smell today and no bison.

16 was supposed to be the pit, but the 17 marker was there. I was hoping to find 16 where 17 was supposed to be at the clearing, but there was nothing there, at least that I could find.

Sequential for the first 5, then to 8 and 10 due to trail re-routing.

Trail re-routing around control 6. Unable to find 7, and 9, possibly due to trail re-routes as well... We're newer navigators, and we were unsure if areas around original trails were "off-limits" due to re-routing and bypassed. Will definitely be back to do 11-20!
