Property Types Open Sourced is a crowdsourcing experiment to capture the collective intelligence of the real estate community.
2
3
In a nutshell, crowdsourcing is "distributed problem solving."
4
5
This is a consensus of what real estate professionals consider to constitute the different property types and sub-types.
6
7
To contribute, add property sub-types to the existing categories or create a new tab for a property type and use rows for sub-types. If you don't think a particular property type belongs, make a note in the comments section. The comments section is also used to describe a property type in more detail.
8
9
Sort the sub-types from A to Z. Watch for duplicates.
