Welcome to the world of YavaScript Pods & Ferries!

For over a decade Second Life residents have enjoyed exploring Second Life Mainland via YavaScript Pods and Ferries. Not only do they point out areas of interest and offer tidbits of Second Life history, they allow us to safely navigate difficult areas such as narrow protected seaways. To many they are simply fun to ride.

YavaScript Pods visit many types of terrain and might transform along the way into Hot Air Balloons, Speedboats, Railcars, Sleds, Ski Lifts & more. There are Pod stations all over Mainland, some hosted by residents. Either leave on a scheduled pod or have the station rez one out for you to hop in and go.

Pods take up to two passengers.Script Ferries are relatively new and may be found predominantly on the Continent of Sansara.

Ferries run on a timetable and do not respond in the same manner as pods. Ferries accommodate up to four passengers.You can catch them at Aluluei Marina, Da Boom, The Ivory Tower of Primitives, Shermerville, Bay City, The East River Community, and Cecropia piers in Heterocera.

I created this schedule of YavaScript Pod & Ferry routes so that podsters can hop on and off as desired on their own time. I hope you find it useful.

Handy Tip For Podsters

If you find you've "fallen out" of a pod or end up in 0,0,0 coordinates of a region, try using the World Map to teleport to the region your pod should be in. You should arrive seated in the pod!

If you rode with a friend they can send you a TP with the same result.

This works most of the time.

Another Handy Tip For Podsters

If you rezzed a pod then jumping off will derez it.

If you rezzed a pod and encounter a crash, just wait for the regularly scheduled pod to meet up with you to resume your ride.
