Housekeeping data is scheduled to transmit packets from ESTCube-2 every 1 minute, and the gathering of the housekeeping data will be initiated by the Primary COM. The point of these transmissions is to provide the listener with a basic overview of the current status of the satellite. To get more in-depth details about a specific value the appropriate telecommands are to be used. Data transmission intervals can be adjusted depending on the mission status after launch.
2
HK data will be wrapped inside an ICP packet (that in turn will be inside an AX.25 frame) and forwarded to GS and all the data fields will be in little-endian format.
3
The subsystem collecting that data will indicate with a bitmask at the start of each subsystem packet if the most up-to-date data was fetched from that subsystem. If no data was gotten from a subsystem, the last values the subsystem has will be retransmitted.

Housekeeping telemetry logic:

PCOM requests housekeeping data from all available subsystems.
PCOM will go through all available subsystems.
Each will respond with their latest data.
If no response is received, the last known values are retransmitted and the packet will be marked appropriately.
PCOM transmits the packets on the UHF band.

Currently implemented HK modes are as follows:
"00" - Normal operations
"01" - Safe mode
“10” - TBD
“11” - TBD
