Use this spreadsheet to create your own pixel art drawings. Click on the "Art" tab at the bottom to begin.

To color in the squares, type in the lower-case letters from "a" to "s" as indicated in the key at the top of the sheet. For the color white, just leave the cell blank. To remove a color, just delete what you typed into the cell.

If you want to change the available colors, click "Format" then "Conditional formatting". Click on any color you want to change, and then pick a new fill color and text color.

You can use the different "Fractions" tabs to enter the fractional portion of each color in your pixel art.

You can use the "Areas" tab to enter the area of your art and the area of each color in square units.

When done:

You can delete the color key at the top of the sheet if you would like.

You can delete any extra rows or columns if you want. Click on the row or column heading, then click "Edit" and choose "Delete row" or "Delete column".

You can remove the gridlines if you want by clicking "View" and unchecking "Gridlines".

You can print you art by clicking "File" and "Print".

You can download your art by clicking "File" then "Download as" then "PDF document".
