The idea for the Grand Unified Rating List was first mentioned and developed by Vincent Lejeune in 2009, yet the name GURL came years later.

It is an effort to create a rating list, which combines most available games from various well-known testers or rating organisations in the hope the huge

data will compensate the shortcomings, because of different test environments/time controls/hardware etc.

This list is in no way intended to replace or substitute the great amount of hard work done by all mentioned testers and rating organisations below.

Just regard it as a 'nice to have' supplement.

The preprocessed ordo file and the used batch file are available for download, but not the real games file (pgn). Error margins are currently not given,

but if someone wants to run the calculations with at least 200 simulations please send me the result and I will change the according column.
