SPRING 2019
24
25
GOALS:Safety: First, last, most important.Pedestrian and Driver Safety come first and is our highest priority. It is especially critical given our drop off situation. Note that you are in charge of traffic flow and drop off movement and that safety comes first before the two points below.
26
Efficiency: Prompt traffic flow at drop off.If a parent takes too long in line just respectfully ask them to park next time so they can have that important time with their children but not do so in the drop off lane.
27
Community: A pleasant drop off experience for Regents families. For most, this is their first contact in the morning. A gracious demeanor, welcoming manner and pleasant smile is a blessing for all. And we do it with Grace and Mercy.
28
29
REQUIREMENTS:Be punctualTake responsibility, be punctual, arrive at the curb by 7:25 am, depart around 8:15 am. WITH REASONABLE EXCEPTIONS, YOU MAY NOT SERVE ON RDCS IF YOU CANNOT FOLLOW THIS REQUIREMENT.
30
Replace yourselfIf you cannot show up on your day, it is your responsibility to replace yourself well ahead of time with a Regents Dad - you can use the list from the ALTERNATE TEAM on this google site. WITH REASONABLE EXCEPTIONS, YOU MAY NOT SERVE ON RDCS IF YOU CANNOT FOLLOW THIS REQUIREMENT.
31
Be intentionalThis service ministry is about safety, efficiency, community and fellowship - in that order. BE INTENTIONAL. Get your job done. DO NOT ALLOW DISTRACTIONS - NO COFFEE, NO VISITING, NO KIDDING. Limit visiting to a minimum "good morning, let me call you later" while serving. Explain quickly to your friends you will have to visit another time, not during RDCS time. WITH REASONABLE EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE DO NOT SERVE ON RDCS IF YOU CANNOT FOLLOW THIS REQUIREMENT.
32
Wear the orange vestsDrivers and pedestrians look to you for assistance and clear direction. They need to be able to easily recognize you.
33
Team Leaders LEADAll Team members follow the Team Leader's direction and authority. Team Leaders are in charge. Report to your Team Leader. YOUR TEAM LEADER IS IN CHARGE. FOLLOW YOUR TEAM LEADER.
