Boring Rules and Stuff 1. Thou shalt not screenshot or quote neither Gamemaker's messages, nor thine neighbor's messages.
9
2. Thine Gamemaker henceforth reserveth the right to proclaim "Bullshit!" at any point in the game.
10
3. Thou shalt not revive from thine grave to moan of thine predicament or of any other matter, for thine Gamemaker felt great rage last time.
11
4. Similarly, thou shalt not moan in private convos after thine death. Nor shall the living talk to thine corpse.
12
5. Thou shalt vote by 6 PM EST, lest thou be smitten by thine Gamemaker.
13
6. If thou hast forgotten to place thine vote, thou shalt be granted one grace-smite before lightning strikes thee.
14
7. Thou shalt bold thine vote, and thou shalt not vote for thyself.
15
8. Thou shalt invite thine Gamemaker to any private conversation pertaining to the game.

Overly Complex Order of Powers

Catch-22, Smite, Dent, Gatsby, Big Brother, Fiver, Crane, Finch, Lynch, Montoya, Bond, Lecter, Khan, Antagonist Kill, Event Action, Dustfinger, Yossarian, Moriarty, Holmes, Frankenstein, Inferi, Riddle
19
20
EventsAha! The gimmick! One event will happen each night, and each will only occur once. Most are instantaneous, but some last for the duration of a single day.
21
Usually you won't be told which events happen/happened when. Even though in some cases it'll be very obvious, I won't say "X event happened!" in the recap. Logic yourselves.
22
The order in which they occur is hidden, but predetermined and non-random (I can prove this after the game).
23
All the World's a Stage The participants of the five most recently used (non-wolf/role) convos will be revealed with the recap, along with the first message on each page.
24
Funeral Blues No roles are revealed on death tonight.
25
Road Not Taken The player with the second highest vote tally is lynched. In the case of a tie, the player with the longest standing vote will be lynched.
26
Charge of the Light Brigade On the day of this event, the last person to spell a player's name CORRECTLY will charge bravely into the jaws of death. If no one spells a name correctly, nothing happens. All shall know Ernhummer's pain.
27
Where the Sidewalk Ends All players are killed, leaving Shazam as the one true winner.
28
Wandered Lonely as a Cloud All private conversations, except role, are completely shut down today. The wolf convo is restricted to kill votes only.
29
Touched by an Angel The player that was lynched on the previous day is brought back to life. If he somehow survived, nothing happens.
30
Lost Generation The Order of Powers is reversed on this night.
31
The Poor Ghost The player that was killed last (Order of Powers) on N1 may make a valid lynch vote in the dead convo. Said vote won't be noted in the vote tallies before the recap.
32
If You Forget Me When a player is lynched today, the Antagonist kill is negated.
33
Dream Deferred All role powers will instead target their users tonight.
34
Unknown Citizen The (non-wolf) player networked with the least amount of living players (at the day's start) becomes a role of his choice (at the day's end). If there's a tie between players, the one highest up on this role list will be chosen.

ROLEPOWERNOTES
36
37
Protagonists (Town)
38
39
Win Condition: Kill all Antagonists
40
Finch Every day, Finch's vote counts as two. For every day that he changes the outcome of the vote with his power (as in, if the outcome would be different if his vote only counted for one), his vote counts for one more. If his vote becomes equal to five, Finch will be auto-lynched that day for stuffing the ballots.Ah, Atticus Finch. The most badass character in all of literature. Also, for those of you that struggle with simple math: if Finch changes the outcome two times his vote will be worth four total (Which, coincidentally, is the most it can equal without getting him killed).
41
Yossarian Once per game, may inflict a player with Catch-22. The target will be notified.Bonus points: Match Yossarian with a similar standard role.
42
Holmes Each night, may determine a player's role. Holmes permanently loses his power if he investigates Moriarty.A legitimate Sherlock Holmes seer. Huzzah!
43
Montoya Every other night, Montoya may choose a player to target. Montoya will guard his target that night, saving the player from being killed with no negative effects to Montoya. On the NEXT night, Montoya will function as a Hunter. The catch? He's forced to target the player he just guarded.Bodyguard, Hunter, Repeat. Prepare to die. Or, uh, live. Prepare to be uncertain about who's killing you.
44
Frankenstein Each night, may choose to "save" a player from (non-lynch) death. Kind of. If the target is killed, said player becomes Frankenstein's Monster. For the purposes of powers and such: the target will die, but his role won't be revealed.A second protective role?! I must be out of my mind.
45
Bond Each night, may read one message from any conversation (except role and wolf). Bond picks this message himself (hooray!) by telling the GM: (Player, Convo number (based on the order in which they were created), Page number, Message number). If Bond picks a number too high for any of the parameters, it will be rounded down to the highest available one.It was a novel first. Who knew? Anyway: "Yes, GM, I'd like to look at the 5th message on the 1st page of the 2nd convo that <player>'s in. Thanks."
46
Crane Each night, the player who was lynched the previous day can control Crane's vote on the following day. There won't be direct contact between Crane and the dead; Corpse says "Vote X" in the dead convo and the GM passes it on to Crane. The dead won't know who Crane is, but can't force him to make an invalid vote. It's like a Priest, but not! Wow. How much more can I screw with the daily lynch? Also, because of the way these games work, the power won't kick in till D3. Meh.
47
Gatsby Each night, may bribe a target into not using their role power. Gatsby won't be told whether or not he accomplished anything. These simple roles seem almost boring in comparison.
48
Dent Every other night, Dent may cause the extraordinarily improbable occurence of switching two players around. Unfortunately, such a thing is very hard to control; One of his two targets will switch to the next living person either above or below them on the player list (It'll loop back around if everyone below/above is dead). Whether it is the first or second of his targets that's switched is determined by the number of players that would die that night if he didn't act (Odd number dead, first target changes. Even number dead, second target changes.) Above/below is determined similarly, with above being odd and below being even, except that it's based the tenths place number, and is found by multiplying the number of days since the release of "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by the number of days from the nearest Jan 1 that I completed the book, divided by 42. Cannot switch lynch targets. This game would be ten times simpler if RNG would come back to play with my roles.
49
Antagonists (Wolves)
50
51
Win Condition: Kill all Protagonists
52
Big Brother Each night, will be told the title of every non-role conversation and its participants. Big Brother earns permanent night immunity when he is in a conversation with every living player.Mmm, information.
53
Moriarty Each night, may determine a player's role. Moriarty permanently loses his power if he investigates Holmes. The only simple wolf role. Because fuck Moriarty.
54
Riddle Every other night, may target a player with magic or some shit. An Inferi will be created with the target's powers, though Riddle won't be told what these abilities are. The target will be notified.Mildly complicated role. May not entirely fit Riddle's character, but there was so much material for him that I had to narrow it down. Shut up.
55
Khan Once per game, can allow the Antagonists to kill two people instead of one. The Antagonists don't choose these two targets; Instead, they'll kill the two most isolated players (as in, networked with the least amount of living players). If there's a tie between targets, the player that most recently talked in a convo will be spared.Shere KHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNN
56
Inferi (Proxy) Proxy, created and controlled by Tom Riddle. Killed exactly one day after its creation. Retains the power and abilities of Riddle's target and has full use of them while alive. Otherwise functions as a normal player, but cannot vote and does not count towards the Antagonist's win. Cannot be killed/targeted by Khan, and cannot use a specific once-per-game power more than once.Remember, this will always be a proxy.
57
Bystanders (Neutral)
58
59
Win Conditions: Individual
60
Fiver Wins by surviving to the game's end. Every night, Fiver's told which event is scheduled for the following night. If Fiver is lynched or otherwise killed by a Protagonist, the upcoming event will be revealed publicly with the recap. If Fiver is wolfkilled or otherwise killed by an Antagonist, the upcoming event will be revealed in the wolf convo. If Fiver dies in any other way, his power is not passed on to anyone.Kill this guy. No matter who you are, kill this guy. And yes, Fiver's a rabbit. You try thinking of a character with precognition in literature.
61
Dustfinger Assigned a buddy at the start of the game. Dustfinger wins by getting his buddy's killer either lynched or burned. Once per game, Dustfinger can kill another player with fire. Unfortunately, his flames burn so hot that the corpse will be unrecognizable; The target's role will not be recovered. If the buddy's killer is lynched or wolfkilled, his "killer" will be the first person that voted for him (in the game thread or wolf convo, respectively).I couldn't have a storybook game without Inkheart. Anyway: Obviously, if his target lives to the game's end, Dustfinger loses. With shame. Much shame. All the shame.
62
Lecter Wins by either lynching or stabbing the first living person that claims a role, either publicly or privately (not counting wolf/role convos). Lecter will be told the name of his target on the night immediately after the reveal, unless the target's role was revealed in a PM; In that case, Lecter will only be told his target's role. Once per game, Lecter may stab another player with extreme prejudice. Lecter also has an extensive collection of faces from past victims; Every night, he may pick a role to disguise as to fool Seers. Unfortunately, since the faces get... worn out... he can't disguise as the same role twice. If two Lecters are present, they cannot have the same target.Depending on how open people are, this could either be a very easy or very difficult win. Luckily, you'll be able to relax with a fancy meal afterwards. Maybe with some fava beans. And a nice chianti.
63
Frankenstein's Monster (Acquired) No one starts with this role. He functions mostly identical to his former life, in that he appears as his old role to seers and his win condition doesn't change, but he's lost use of his old role power. Sadness. Also, his vote will count as a whopping 0 in the event of a tie.Ha, you thought Frankenstein was the monster! Get Shelly'd.
64
Abilities
65
66
Additional power, held alongside a role. Not everyone has one. Abilities are not unique.
67
Deus Ex Machina Will come out unscathed from one normally-lethal thing. Unfortunately, since this makes him a really shallow character, he'll always start the day with an extra vote placed on him.Just imagine you've got a flock of eagles in perpetual orbit.
68
Treacherous This player's win condition, regardless of their role, is replaced with "Survive to the game's end". He no longer counts for/against the Antagonist win.Big words. Woo.
69
Nemesis One of a pair. In addition to his normal win condition, a holder of Nemesis must be alive when his partner dies. They'll each be told who their partner is at the start of the game, but not which role their partner holds. The pair will be placed in a convo at the start of the game for my amusement.Only one of them can win! I think. Probably? Loopholes everywhere.
70
Doppelganger Controls an alt in the game thread. The alt functions as a seperate player; It can vote independantly, have powers used on it (though it has no powers of its own), and be lynched/smited/otherwise killed. If the alt's alive when its master dies, it will simply poof out of existence.Yes, it has to vote or it will be smited. Yes, the grace-smite applies to it. Yes, it's affected by events.
71
Reclusive This player cannot talk in any private conversations (excluding role). If he's a wolf, he's restricted to kill votes only in the wolf convo. To be clear, you can talk at this guy all you want. He just can't respond in PM.
72
Impulsive The holder of Impulsive can only use his role power on the player he voted for that day, and must lock every vote he makes. On the bright side, his vote's worth two. Hooray! Sort of.Hm, I wonder why that guy's been locking every vote from the first day. If only there were some incredibly obvious answer.
73
Catch-22 (Acquired) No one starts with this ability. A player with Catch-22 will be forced to vote for themselves, but it won't take effect if said holder does not place a vote. This player will also have any remaining grace-smites negated.Think about this one for a minute, kids.
