PhilJobNetPhilJobNet is an internet-based job and applicant matching system which aims to fast track jobseekers search for job and employers for manpower requirements.

Jobseekers are required to signup and provide their personal details and work related information in order to apply online.

Moreover, it is one of the labor market information systems (LMIS) of the DOLE that serve as sources of timely, relevant and accessible LMI. 		Integration of PhilJobNet and PESO Employment Information System (PEIS) databases is currently ongoing wherein administrative, maintenance and reporting modules of PhilJobNet will be lodged in PEIS.

PESO Employment Information SystemThe PESO Employment Information System (PEIS) is a web-based internet application system developed mainly for the DOLE Regional/Field Offices, and LGU-Public Employment Service Offices and School-based Job Placement Offices which records vital information such as vacancies and track client transactions aside from the profile and skills of the jobseekers.In-house (under the JobStart Project)Micosoft .NET development toolProgramming Language: Microsoft .NET

Note: The above-cited reports may be disaggregated depending on the type of data needed		The PEIS has been currently used for efficient collection, analysis, storage, and dissemination of labor market information (LMI). The PEIS has the capacity to regularly track the employment status of registrants enrolled in the system, a vital move linking the available manpower supply and industry demands.

It helps the PESOs in implementing employment facilitaion services such as profiling, job matching and referral.

The system also has functionalities of Client Tracking System (CTS) ans PEIS serves as a tool for monitoring major employment facilitation programs of DOLE including those that involve other government agencies such as Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) - Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Prgram (4Ps), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) - Training for Better Access to Job Opportunities (Trabaho), and K to 12 DOLE Adjustment Measures Program (AMP).		System enhancement is currently ongoing to integrate the administrative, maintenance and reporting modules of PhilJobNet.

PEIS Windows Application was developed for PESOs with weak to no internet connection. Currently on-hold due to the ongoing system enhancement.

Career Information SystemAs an innovative initiative in the strengthening of the country’s LMI system, particularly with career information dissemination, the BLE developed a web-based Career Information System (CIS) which primarily converts data of existing electronic files Career Information Pamphlets (CIPs) in PDF Format and migrates into an interactive, user-friendly, and easy-to-update information system and career matching platform that may help and facilitate the guidance counselors and career advocates’ practice of their guidance and counseling services. It contains digitized Career Information Pamphlets (CIPs), as well as information on certain occupations (i.e. tasks, basic education requirements, skills and competencies required, salary compensation, employment opportunities, etc.).OutsourcedWordpressWeb-base application

- Internship pledges positions		During the pre-Covid-19 pandemic, the registration and clients' assessment were conducted face-to-face. To comply with the IATF Guidelines and adapt the new digital technology, online registration, processing and monitoring have been incorporated in the system.

Youth beneficiaries and partner companies were provided an access to the JobStart - YEE for their online tracking and monitoring tool, while admistrative, maintenance and reporting modules are lodged in the PEIS web portal. The system supports in the data collection and report generation which are crucials in the operation and monitoring of JobStart program.
