The Division Festival of Talents (DFOT) -Technolympics is an annual skills competition in preparation with the Regional Technolympics. This competition is open to grades 5 to 6 elementary graders, TLE and TVL students, ALS, SPED and ALIVE students. the following skills were contested ; for elementary- Silk Screen Preparation and Dish Gardening; for TVL/TLE/ ALS/SPED/ ALIVE - Technical Drafting, Computer System Servicing (CSS), Bread & Pastry, Landscaping, Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM), Food Processing, Dressmaking and Furniture and Cabinet Making (FCM)..This was conducted last Sept 17-19, 2018.
At the end of the activity, the different skills competitions can determine the best contestants to represent the division in the Regional Festival of Talents in Butuan City in November, 2018.
This competition also provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents in the technology and livelihood education through exhibitions of their products and performances as evidence in their learning; and extend parallel learning sessions for teachers and students to enhance their knowledge and skills in their field of interest.
The students (contestants) display the best outputs in the skills they are competing of. Top three (3) best outputs win the competition and be declared as winners.
The contestants and coaches were given contests mechanics and guidelines before the contests.
A tool will be given to participants to evaluate the activity.
All the contest were done smoothly. No complaint as the result of the contests.
It is fair that all the contestants in landscaping, dressmaking and dish gardening have the same materials so their skills will be then shown.

In line with the implementation of the K to 12 Curriculum pursuant to RA 10533 otherwise known as the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, the Department of Education ensures the quality delivery of the K to 12 Curriculum in all learning areas. This leads to promoting senior high school education through development of relevant programs. With this, the Bureau of Learning Delivery-Teaching and Learning Division conducted an Workshop on Skills Development for Repair and Maintenance last November 20-24 at Hotel Koresco, Pueblo de Oro Golf Estate, Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City, which was attended by the two (2) TVL teachers from La Union Stand Alone Senior High School, and one (1) Education Program Supervisor in TLE/TVL. Thus, need to cascade in the division level with teachers participants from the schools.
1. Orient on the equipment repair and maintenance system and safety rules in the utilization of tools and equipment, and
2. Able to harmonize the existing templates used in the field on the repair and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Under R.A. 10533, the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, TVL Senior High School learners must possess the competencies of the TVL track they chose, thus, can demonstrate the knowledge and skills through the participation of skill competition like the regional and national festival of talents. For the past three (3) years of participation to the Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT), the Cabadbaran City always settle at the lowest rank in Web Page Designing, Technical Drafting, Electronics Servicing, Landscaping and Dressmaking. With this, the Division will conduct capacity building with the above mentioned skills on April 19-20, 2018 (2 days) Cabadbaran City National High School.
Familiarize and master the competencies in the contest package in the RFOT skills (technical drafting, web page designing, dressmaking, landscaping and electronics products servicing).

To showcase the exhibition of the skills taught Technology Livelihood Education (TLE) / Technology Vocational Livelihood (TVL), DepEd Cabadbaran City Division shall participate in the Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT)- Technolympics on November 7-9, 2018 at Butuan City.

In the conduct of the 2017 Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) at Agay National High School, RTR, Agusan del Norte, Cabadbaran City only ranked 5th runner -up in Technolympics. Thus, there is really a need to conduct a cliniquing to all the first place winners in each skill contest during the Division Festival of Talents (DFOT)since they will represent the Division to Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT)- Technolympics.
• At the end of the activity, the contestants master the competencies needed in the skill competition. Hopefully can garner the overall second – runner up place in the Regional Festival of Talent this November 7-9, 2018 at Butuan City.

DepEd Cabadbaran City Division recognizes its responsibility and accountability to educate its learners as stated in DepEd vision and mission. Further, its envisions to effectively and efficiently provide quality instructions. This accountability is expected to deliver excellent learning outcomes of our learners. Thus, a research on the Impact of Clinical Supervision of Education Program Supervisors (EPS) and School Heads on Teachers’ Competence and Learners’ Outcomes was conducted.
Clinical supervision is a process by which teacher receives individualized support to enhance her/ his instruction in order to improve learners’ performance. Mogan (2009) stressed that clinical supervision is a method that focused on the improvement of teacher’s performance through direct interaction of supervisors and teachers in natural teaching setting. As the result of the study, the EPS and School Heads are proficient in conducting class clinical supervision. Teachers are proficient as to their teaching competence is concern. Clinical supervision has bearing on teachers’ competence and learners’ outcomes.
Based on the result of the study, an enhancement program was designed as an output.
-Capacitate EPS and School Heads on Clinical Supervision to improve teachers’ instructional competence and learners’ performance.
-Help identify critical issues for improvement, thus, appropriate technical assistance will be provided.
-Simulation on the Actual Class Observation to Teachers by the EPS and School Heads
