|2/17/2013 21:58:48||Nexus 10 32GB||Doesn't work||Password set, DeBug set.|
Program asked if password was set.
The HW connection was not OTG:
Win 7 SP1>Full Sized USB 2.0>Adapter USB Mini to USB micro >Nexus.
These are NOT OTG. I did not have a full sized USB male to male connector to use with a OTG Micro USB/Full sized Female.
I'll try again when I can connect via an OTG cable.
My Nexus is not rooted.
Kernel= 3.4.5 gaf9c307 Jan 8 17:22 PST 2013
Nexus 10/32 Build # JDQ39.
The only output to Windows CMD line screen was:
"adb: unable to connect for backups"
Tried the ADB selection. Seemed to do something - scrolled fast on screen. BU file on Win7 PC "BACKUP.ab" size = 0 however.
Tried other choices -same error message.

Android Degug Bridge version 1.0.31
The page was full of command info.
No command was run or tried, as far as I can see.

|2/26/2013 3:01:03||Tranformer TF300T||Works partially||this program does not work.|
every time i run it i get a backup file of a random size wherever it decided to quit.
i got a 2gb file, a 1gb, and a 3gb, yet my backup should be around 5gb in size
i got no error message, and no confirmation message saying it was completed.
The backup screen on my tablet (tf300t) just disappears and the program on my PC (win 8 x64) lets me press other buttons because it thinks it is done.
I did not actually test the restore file, but others have and found out too late that it doesn't work at all.
being that it quits at random times, I don't expect to have a different experience

|6/20/2013 9:56:49||Nexus 4||Works partially||Backing up took quite some time, and was thought to hanged up on "Shared Storage", but either way, with some patience it ended with an over 4gb backup file. Should have warned the backup will take lotsa time. Total noob to android here. :P|
Testing restore ended up in failures lots of time (over 10 hours figuring out what went wrong, or if the backup was corrupted). However, decided to play around, and found out that for Nexus 4 restore to work, once the backup password was set up, user needs to fill in the password twice, one for the current set up password, and another one below for decrypting it. Figures. Cheers mate. Nice backup tool here, unfortunately not enough testing and documenting to compliment it. :)

it did something... im gonna back it up 3 ways, nuke it, and see which restore i like, but this is easier than installing jdk/adb and doing it manually.
you just install the driver, turn on usb debugging and give it a backup password and then run the windows app (no install)
so far i like it
