JordanaGilmanTheir Eyes Were Watching GodZora Neale HurstonThis book might be a little mature, but it does an incredible job of capturing the complexities of the female experience and (I imagine) the African American experience. This book changed my perspective on life in some small ways, and I hope it inspires you to value yourself above all else and know your worth.
