WELCOME TO SATRAC
4
The Self-Assessment Tool on Readiness to Use Administrative Data for Census (SATRAC) is designed to assist countries in comprehensive self-assessment of their current institutional and technical capacity for utilizing administrative data sources in their population and housing censuses.
5
SATRAC aims to help National Statistical Offices (NSOs) and relevant administrative data holders (ADHs) to identify areas of strength, weakness and shortcomings, evaluate the progress made over time in the institutional and technical capacity and enhance communication between NSOs and ADHs by building common ground.
6
SATRAC consists of two modules, one for National Statistical Offices (NSO Module) and the other one for Administrative Data Holders that maintain administrative data sources relevant to population and housing census data (ADH Module). ADH module will be completed separately for all relevant agencies maintaining administrative registers that can be used for producing census data.
7
