Coming up with strong ideas - knowing what is likely to work and why

I guess prolific authors such as Roget, djkaktus, and Tanhony would know a lot about this. I don't know if any of them would want to/be able to though. I would personally prefer to see what The Great Hippo or Uncle Nicolini say, because they are prolific authors who have already done work for this seminar project afaik.

I would like to see a info panel on how to approach the description of my scp. For instances: Introducing a scp/character with enough description to attach people to them on the jump but still leave enough out of it that people will be looking forward to learning about your scp/character. Also such things as what not to do and to do when giving people an idea of what your scp/character looks like or its fundamental properties. I would like to know these things for my personal endeavors, and i have a feeling that many others would find this helpful in making them competent writes or just give them inspiration to take a different approach.

Trying to target specific audiences, and how to adjust articles or narratives to fit as many people as you can while also nailing down who you want to read it. (Yes, I'm the idiot who only wrote "Jak --> (JakdragonX" instead of an actual suggestion. I apologize, please dont hate me)

I’d had this idea for an SCP for a while now. A dragon statue, made of stone, which has platforms for it to sit on that it flies to in different cities. It will fly to a new location and sit in a still pose as a statue would. It changes its location either once a month, or if someone or something desecrates it (examples, a bird poops on it or a person throws something at it etc.) if this happens it then animates, instantly clean off anything stuck to it, and it will burn all living matter, from humans to micro-organisms within a 50 foot radius and then fly off to a new location. I hope this is a good idea to work with, I’ve had it for a while now, so, it works well.

I would like if you have workshop in wich you present meaning of this fundation. SCP wiki says that your a fiction foundation wich conteins a anomalis in reality,so if this is jus a fiction what is the point,or isn't it.This is a fundation after all,that means your budget is made only from donations.Why would you say so clearly that this is only a fiction?You don't have anything to gain if you say that this is just a fiction.My conclusion is that you just don't wand annessecery attenton.You work sillently and sicretly.If I am wrong plese then give me a answer to my question and don't ignore me.I would not share any information.In any case if I try to share information everyone will think that I'am crazy or just a child.There is lot more there is to say abaut SCP,but I think this is enought for now.I'm sory for my eanglisch and misspeld some words.Have a nice day and thank you.

I feel people who have good ideas only to later to realize it comes across as confusing might benefit knowing, not the criteria of an SCP, but what 'is' and SCP i.e. an orginal idea, a scary concept or just something random and weird? It can be alot of things but to know what an SCP is in its entirety.
