A particle is simply a part of grammar that doesn't always fit in other parts of speech and express a grammatical aspect in a sentence or a clause. Particles can be used to express things like verb tense, noun possession, word negation, and more. Here is a list of all the commonly used particles and their basic uses.

The Particle E (Quotation Particle)
22
In formal, written text, the particle E is placed before and after a quote from someone, similarly to quotation marks. It is often dropped in everyday conversation, or is only spoken after a quote, though it is always written.

The Particle Ī (Genitive Particle)
27
This particle is simple to use, but has two ways this can be expressed: as a particle or as a suffix. It is used to express possession of an object like how 's is used in English. As a particle, it is added after the noun that is the owner, followed by the noun that is being owned just as it is in English (used in the same way the particle 的 is in Chinese). As a suffix, it is simply added to the end of the owner and is used in the same way that the particle is used.

The Particle Yat (XOR)
32
Yat is used for forming simple, yes or no questions, questions that are not open ended. These are also known as exclusive or It is ended to the end of a statement to change it into a question. You can not use this particle when the question contains who, what, when, where, or why.

EnglishIs this yours?

LiteralThis (is) you <possessive><question>

The particle Kem (Negation Particle)
37
The particle kem acts as a general adverb for many irregular verbs that don't conjugate. For example, the negative form of the irregular verb a'me (to survive) is kem a'me (to not survive). It's important to note that kem can be used in place of to not be, as the verb a'ī can be omitted for redundancy.
38
SekirQaur kem (a'i) neria.
39
EnglishWe're not nevrians!
40
Literal Translation
We <negative> (to be) nevrean

Conjugation particles
42
All particles highlighted in colors (blue, red, and green), are used for verb conjugation. These group of very important particles can be placed after a verb to add one of 12 different grammatical tenses. Verbs do not always need to be conjugated in Sekir, as an unconjugated verb is assumed to be a present simple verb.
