Jan. 2019 update: Sent all resources and offered help to K-5 and middle school contacts. Put together recommended resources for K-5. Met with curriculum director in 2018, Batavia Bicycle Commission has been teaching bike ed to every 3rd grade at 6 schools for 3 years. This spring, RMS will provide an all-school lesson(s) in Bike Safety. Most likely, materials will be used from the FHA's Bicycle Safer Journey curriculum.

Jan. 2019 update: Contacted D26 board members and had a call about a month ago with director of curriculum who said she was going to look through the resources from activetrans. I wanted to do a hands on bike safety event at the school and offered to teach a session classroom by classroom (with other parents) and she seemed more hesitant on the event bc not all kids have bikes.
